Belvedere Beach Hotel

The hotel belvedere is in a great location, situated right next to the beach.

Firstly the location-really excellent, the old town is amazing and the public areas of the hotel are pleasant.

The location is excellent and the hotel is well positioned near to the Old Town.

Be aware if you walk from the top down, you might need to walk back up or get a cab back from the bottom as we did.

To show how much in need of modenisation the bathrooms are four tiles fell off the wall as I was having a bath, they where replaced very quickly by the repairman as was the leak in the toilet.

Fridge and satellite TV (not many channels though) in room, and all rooms had a balcony with chairs and table.

The OLD TOWN is a wonderful magical place in its self and the rooms are a good size the bathrooms could do.

Certainly the bathrooms need to be updated, however, the room was acceptable.

The food is buffet style but apart from a couple of nights when we went out to restaurants in the town we ate there twice everyday and enjoyed it.

Rooms were clean, the dinner breakfast buffet had a large variety of food choices.

Our stay was fantastic all the staff were excellent we stayed in room 232, maid service etc was fine and the shower was very powerful.

The waitressing staff were very friendly and hard working and attend to your every need, i think the reception staff could learn a lot from them.

All the staff were friendly, the maid was exceptional - a true credit to the Belvedere and rooms were good sized.

In addition the staff were very helpful, our room was always spotless the maids had been and the buffet was lovely - meat/rice/pasta/fish dishes.

The pool area is nice and the hotel itself is a great place to stay.

It's obvious that the whole hotel has had a face lift.

I can't speak for the rest of the year but in May it's impossible to sit comfortably by the pool, the wind is fiece.

The hotel is clean, the staff are so friendly and helpful, certainly the bathrooms need to be updated.
