I understand that hotels are a business, but their main and important commodity are satisfied customers—and indeed I am not, and would not recommend this hotel for the prices they charge considering the poor quality of my stay.
The prices were really way over the top—not representative of the prices in that part of Germany for a comparable hotel.
Great peaceful location only "4mins" walk into town and hotel is in a good central position.
We were initially showed a room in the original part of the hotel we declined as appeared old, service were the best we have had in ages and the bathroom had a tub large enough for two.
The bathroom had a tub large enough for two with bubble jets, and heated towel bars.
We stayed In a beautiful suite overlooking the garden which also had a large Jacuzzi tub.
We stayed in the new part of the hotel, the staff was very attentive and the bed was gigantic.
Nicely appointed in terms of decor, the staff was very helpful we needed directions to the Casino and the bed was gigantic.
The breakfast buffet was unbelievable, they put out quite a spread.
If you have time visit the spas and the casino and the hotel's restaurant.
Particular highlights include the wonderful gardens, the excellent afternoon coffee and cake and the large breakfasts.
Indeed breakfast on the terrace on three consecutive summers mornings was one of the highlights of my year!
Breakfast was good and the dinners were delicious.
We also enjoyed high tea in the afternoon out on the back terrace, the service was very good.
Excellent and courteous staff, very freindly, charming and helpful.
The staff are efficient, friendly and discrete, happy to help when asked but in no way intrusive or indeed "stuffy" as suggested by other reviewers.
The dinner and service were the best we have had in ages.
We routinely stay in the best hotels in Germany and excellent and courteous staff.
I do know of an outstanding hotel in Baden-Baden that I would recommend: Brenner's Park is a well-run establishment and the people are friendly, nice, and the service is top notch.
I have no complaints about the hotel, except what I considered to be a large parking fee.
