Beatriz Playa Puerto del Carmen - Puerto del Carmen

The location is great - really close to the beach, the hotel itself is large and spacious.

Stayed at this hotel and sister one on many times but never again at the Beatriz Playa, this hotel has went big time downhill although not the rooms, still clean comfortable rooms and of course location is great.

Hotel is very dated, however location is excellent.

We only paid E10 for a taxi from o/s the airport to the hotel and the reception ordered the return one for us.

We walked it one day and it took us about 45 mins, so take a taxi or bus it.

Hi, we have just returned from the Beatriz, upon our arrival we had dinner straight away which was great our room was fantastic junior suite huge room massive double bed and two big singles and a double pull out in the lounge.

Good sized room which was on 2 levels, with a divider between the double bed and a set of twins.

Our room was opposite the entertainment area at night and we had to listen to music every night until at least 12 - which would have bee annoying if you has young kids in bed.

It was actuallly fun lying on the sun bed and watch the aircrafts getting ready to land.

Room was lovely - we had a seperate lounge area and two balconies but even with bedroom alone we would have been happy.

The old town is well worth a visit, about €5 taxie ride away, we often walked to it too, about 1 hours walk, plenty of good sea food restaurants and bars and Mullignas Irish Bar, the staff are extrememly friendly, really good atmosphere.

The Pool bar restaurant has limited menu but again, all freshly cooked and there are several options from half-chicken and chips, through to sandwiches.

Moreover water was from a little cooler at the bar was warm, restaurant staff were lovely.

Breakfasts were very good with fresh pancakes and eggs cooked by the grill chef in the restaurant.

Great Irish bar in the shopping centre across the road and up the stairs for a mighty full irish breakfast.

Views were great, this hotel was in a smashing location on the beach/promenade in a quiet area and the reception staff were friendly beyond the call of duty.

On arrival the reception area looks really good, a great place to stay and the staff were all very friendly and helpful.

The hotel grounds were very neat, sTAFF - Reception staff were pleasant and our rooms were clean and tidy.

Reception,bar,entertainmant and maintenance staff were extremely friendly & helpful.

The hotel features a variety of other features on site including sauna and jacuzzi, massage, hair salon and multi gym.

I did not try out the sauna etc but did use the gym which is unsupervised and in my opinion dangerous, the fitness equipment is falling apart.

The lobby was well done, the pools look fab.

The bathroom was big and spotless, I do see that some updating is needed in some places but it cetainly wasn't horrible (very very CLEAN).

The room was always spotless when we got back from breakfast too, with fresh towles waiting for us.

The rooms, building and pools were immaculately clean.

The pool area was spotless,with plenty of beds.
