Beach Rotana Hotel Abu Dhabi - 阿布扎比

The location cannot be faulted - right next to and connected to a large mall.

However this hotel is extremely good in turns of location (right next to AD mall), the resturants availble, the amazing breakfast and the heated pool.

Room service was excellent and location was great too - everything we needed was nearby.

Taxis - take hotel taxis and they average about AED 30 anywhere in Abu Dhabi (except the Airport) go for the cheaper ones (yellow and white - soon all be changed to silver) and it works out about 80p - cheaper than chips!

We arrived at the hotel which is a fair distance from the airport but the taxi was only £10.

It is true that Club Rotana rooms are great - a decent size bedroom and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi bath and a separate shower cabin.

The room itself had a king size bed, a small balcony & a good bath/shower room.

The pool area was nice - plenty loungers, studio room in the hotel apartment block was great and the staff at the reception were very friendly and polite.

The pool is heated so it like going into a bath and the toilets and changing rooms are very clean.

Smooth friendly check in, we stayed on level 20 club room which had massive king bed and rollaway all ready to go when we got there.

Plenty of food choice in this hotel too, seafood, Japanese , Italian , American, German and then there,s Trader Vics bar which gets quite lively and serves a mixture of international cuisine , this was my personal favourite.

Breakfast was included in the upgrade (worth it as I believe its approx £13 a head each time you have breakfast) which can be had either in the executive lounge (level 18 - club members only) or in the Rosebuds restaurant.

We were booked for half board and took our meals at the Rosebuds Restaurant (Buffet) Breakfast was great, with all the usual things on offer.

This Hotel has a good range of restaurants, we had breakfast at Rosebuds, which I felt had a good selection of food on offer.

Breakfast service leaves a bit to be desired; we had to repeatedly request cutlery and tea and coffee, but the reception staff and in particular, the concierge are delightful and very helpful.

The hotel is first class and it staff are so warm friendly and helpful from reception / concierge/ door staff /Gust relations/ resteraunt staff/ pool staff, They appear to have staff to help you with any personal request or problem you have.

Every single person we dealt with - cleaners, reception staff, spa staff, waiters, those running the beach bars were incredibly friendly, helpful and polite.

Of particular note is the standard of service we received from the hotel staff - every one of them was attentive and smiling.

Generally the sports/beach area was compact but very well equipped with a sensible size pool, tennis courts, gym, squash, and spa.

Very extensive gym, spa jacusiz and health spa in house.

State of the art gym (if you're into that on holiday) and the pool was lovely with plenty of loungers.

Our room was in the Tower and was clean, tidy and very spacious.

The rooms were very clean and modern, however the maid can come really early so dont forget to put your do not disturb sign on - especially if you want to lay in a bit!

The hotel was impressive, spacious and the service was excellent, the room size was good and clean.

Hotel grounds are very clean, staff is very polite & helpful and the rooms are cleaned up twice a day.

The room was clean and the Bayview Bar by the pool was great.
