LESS THAN HALF the price of what most hotels in the immediate area charge.
Clean and simple rooms just a block from the beach, the location is fabulous for the price.
The location was awesome, the beach was great and the staff was friendly and helpful.
If this place was better maintained, it would be a nice little hotel in a great location.
Good location and easy drive to downtown San Diego.
I liked the location to the beach, only a minute from the beautiful beaches of PB and beautifully enclosed in the hotel.
Checking out the bedroom we discovered that the queen bed took up over 95% of the room.
Very very noisy, from our room upstairs we could hear the people in the spa like they were in our bath tub.
They gave away the room we had requested with 2 queen beds and said that they upgraded us with a suite!
My friend slept in a lumpy bed, while I slept on a pullout couch in the living room.
Nothing fancy, just comfortable queen size bed, good shower, comfortable living area and kitchen.
The continental breakfast is nothing special.
Moreover the staff is very kind and accomodating, hot water that wont last an entire shower, continental breakfast is only muffins.
The continental breakfast is nothing special, but hey, it's free.
Continental breakfast was negligible, so unless you like packaged pastries, head down the street for a bagel or coffee--there are lots of options, and the area is pedestrian-friendly.
Spring Break, though, unless you're there to party :-) Don't waste your time at the "continental" breakfast.
Both suites we stayed in had a very exquisite style to them, the maid service was great and owners were friendly.
The girl at the front desk said that theres nothing they could do unless we saved are reservations cards, they were booked thank god we did.
The staff was kind, accomadating, and friendly.
Spa area was amazing, renovated for the same price Beach Haven was charging and clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Parking can be a little tight, and it may take a trip around the building to find a space.
Things to like - The place is very clean, and housekeeping, bless them, even did the dishes if we left them.
The kitchen was very convenient especially and spa were great.

Location: excellent for walking to beaches, a couple of blocks from busy Garnet street and a decent enough place: rooms are clean.
The room was clean and kitchen was present althought we didn't use.
