The location of the hotel is great - near a major shopping area and close to the historic area of Munich.

The location is really good, a few steeps to the main shopping areas and to many restaurants.

One other thing was that when I arrived by taxi no one was available outside to help me with my bags and when I left and needed a taxi I had to wait a bit until someone was around.

Turndown service with traditional chocolate candy on a pillow, mini-bar, TV-set, internet access, safe-box, air condition, hair dryer, two phones (in bedroom and bathroom) and so on.

The small bedroom had a single bed covered with a wrinkled bedspread and got a narrow window dotted with cement.

In fact generally I find that people bend over backwards to make sure I get what I need, for example when a porter went to complain our room was not large enough for an extra child's bed, before we even had time to say anything.

The rooms were very clean, the bed very comfortable and the service staff was very helpful.

We had no handle or lock for our bathroom door, and the air conditioning in our room was not cool enough.

The buffet breakfast was included in the room rate, but the food was poorly prepared and the restaurant staff was rude.

A wonderful experience is to sit in the roof top restaurant and enjoy breakfast overlooking the roof tops of Munich enjoying a glass of champagne.

It's a large hotel that feels so because it's always very busy with people coming and going in the lobby, bar and restaurants.

The Roof Garden breakfast restaurant is situated on the upper floor and has an unforgettable panoramic view of the Munich center with the Frauenkirche’s domes.

Good breakfast, nice health club/spa/pool and Bar.

The service and friendliness from reception staff and particularly the breakfast waitresses left you feeling as if you were the only guest in the hotel.

Excellent location, historic landmark Hotel in Munich and the staff were very client-service oriented.

In the past I had found concierge, reception etc fairly unpleasant to deal with.

We both had excellent massage treatments, but the pool was a little chilly, the spa area was a steam room, sauna and cold plunge bath-small and with limited changing areas, so go along in your robe.

The pool and spa areas are also very nice, with a fantastic terrace upon which to gaze across the rooftops in Munich.

The Blue Spa wellness center is very original too mainly due to its nice pool on the sixth floor.

The hotel room was small but clean and typically Bavarian.

In general, the room was regular, nothing special but well prepared and clean.
