Bay Watch Resort North Myrtle Beach

Great location, the hotel is trying SO hard to be professional and the hot tub is just that.

The location is ideal and away fromt he very busy part of Myrtle Beach and the beach front is uncomparable.

What it has in its favor are comfortable rooms and ocean front location.

I was even offered a free foot massage as my hair was being washed.

8 of us were looking for a hotel that was close to the airport, on the beach with good access to many of the resort golf courses.

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom looked new and updated, and the room was very clean.

They have clearly spent a great deal of time and money renovating their rooms - the decor and presentation were beautiful, the bathroom small but modern, and the bed oh, so comfy.

We were supposed to have an oceanfront/2 double bed room and instead got a oceanview/king bedroom.

The beds had amazing down comforters and each bed had 3 fluffy pillows.

They actually gave us an oceanfront room with a king bed, which was fabulous, we had booked the cheaper room through Booked.net but ended up getting the room we really wanted by accident.

There was a breakfast bar and dinner menu and lunch but we only ate the dinner and breakfast.

Please listen to me and eat the breakfast bar but don't waste your money on the dinner!

The only meal we had in the restaurant was breakfast, which was a buffet at a reasonable price, with eggs cooked to order, fresh fruit, bacon, sausage, pastries, biscuits, etc.

In the mornings, we ate breakfast at the restaurant then headed out to play golf.

We didn't try the pools (indoor and outdoor), the hot tub, the Beach bar, or the restaurant, so can't comment on those.

I called the hotel before we even got there to make sure they had our reservation since I made it online and to request a room with a balcony, the front desk staff was very rude and not accommodating at all.

In addition the hotel was obviously newly renovated, the service was great and the check-in staff was very friendly and helpful.

We did not use the newly opened spa on the second floor, although a staff member came around the pool one afternoon with promo cards for free scalp massage with a paid service.

For the price we paid I expected much better, lobby were very nice and the front desk staff was very friendly.

You spent most of your time waiting on the elevators to go to your room and then to the parking garage elevator to wait even more or to the pool etc.

The only thing that was a little inconvenient was the fact you had to take two different elevators - one for the parking deck and the other to get to your room and the parking deck elevator was slow.

For example, Arthur (maintenance technician) chatted with us for a while and gave us a lift in the service elevator, because the other elevators were full.

The M Grande Resort and Spa was a great place to stay with very clean rooms.

The staff was awesome, i noticed the room was very clean and the breakfast was very nice.

The rooms were clean and the food was very good.

The room was clean and restaurant was great.
