Courteous staff in a beautiful city, superb hotel and perfect service.
Talking of spectacular views, breakfast was outstanding in a superb room overlooking the canal and the location of the hotel so close to the main attractions was very convenient.
The suite was perfectly clean and we loved the breakfast on the rooftop terrace -- was the perfect way to start a day in Venice.

Bauer il Palazzo Hotel is only 15 minutes ride by water taxi from the Santa Lucia railway station. Otherwise, you should take Vaporetto (public water-bus) line 1 or line 2 to San Marco Vallaresso. The trip will take you 45 minutes. Venice Marco Polo Airport is only 30 minutes ride by water taxi or 45 minutes ride by Alilaguna public water ferry, which leaves every hour from apt dock to San Marco. Hotel offers its guests shuttle service to/from the airport/railway station.

Nice view from terrace, arrival by water taxi was wonderful and our stay at the Hotel Il Palazzo at the Bauer was unforgettable. Excellent location near San Marco, mark's Square and backs onto the Grand Canal, great decor, gorgeous bathrooms, rooms are big and spacious.
