  Great place to stay and the rooms are built in traditional Longhouse style are very comfortable. Staff is very friendly and kind, mineral water here can cost Rm8 for a small bottle and Rm16 for a big one. The food is good.

  The setting is fabulously beautiful and the staff is customer focused and friendly. The rooms themselves are fine, nice and clean enough, the restaurant has a good choice of buffet food, catering for everyone.

  The hotel staff are cheerful and very helpful, some rooms a long walk from the restaurant and reception.

  The food is not good and the gym is ridiculously small.

  Too hot to stay up there about 9 pm in the evening, the staff were friendly and our bedroom was very pleasant and clean. The buffet/mixed grill were tasty and the a la carte was superb, for dinner local food was very delicious. The pool was really great and enjoyable.

  The staff were really charming and the Room was comfortable. The next day the food was perfect and the à la carte menu was reasonably priced and the dishes tasted good. Pool was great.

  Great service from staff and a relaxing break from city life, we waited just before 1800 for a boat to pick us up, the lake is gorgeous. The hotel design is based on a traditional long house, the rooms are more simple and housed in modern longhouses, the food as the resort is excellent and is a real strength of Batang Ai. The lunch and snack menu is varied and reasonably priced, the pool is clean, pleasant.

  A fabulous location, the staff were amazing, the boat ride was nice and near the reception desk we saw the prizes that this hotel has won. One evening the service was great the next horrible and our room was spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Food was very good and only a la carte menus were available.

  The views around the resort are spectacular and the sunsets shouldn't be missed, the staff are recruited from local villages and trained at the hotel. Internet access available in reception, the food is great at the restaurant, and the upriver/longhouse tour is a must, the SPA is really worth trying.

  Very exciting boarding a boat enroute to the hilton batang ai, your car arrives near the lake and without any other lights in the area the night sky was incredible. For rm250 a night, this place was awesome, the staff were great welcomming and freandly, room was clean, airy, and very comfortable. The restaurant food was extremely disappointing, the local dishes were the best on the menu.
