Loved how remote the Longhouse is… Staff very friendly, smiles and helpful Great activities to choose from…hiking, Booked.neting, visit real Iban Longhouse. Costs reasonable. Booked.neting and swimming at the lake at sunset is magical. (They do have a nice-looking pool but we prefered the lake) Only meals we needed were breakfast buffet s$18 Buffet dinner approx s$35. Plus snacks we brought with us. (A la carte also available)
The long trip to get there, but that is the reason it is quiet and remote. Passing palm plantations and destroyed and burning forests very sad...

This place is so much better than some reviews lead you to believe. Spectacular location, great visit to local longhouse, rooms not nearly as tired as some reviews make out. Swimming pool was out of action when we were there, but they gave us 50% of our booze bill to compensate so we were very happy. They do their own nature walk in the evening and they have a good canopy walk. A long journey from Kuchingbwith five hours in a mini bus and a boat trip across the lake, but worth it. The hilton sort the transfer out and it was smooth (apart from the bumpy roads) and a reasonable price. Definitely worth a couple of days. Ask to go to a smaller longhouse if you want to avoid the dancing and cultural shows. We went to a small one, no fuss and we saw life as it is lived not life as the tourists want to see. The waterfall trip is also good. A slippery walk through the forest from your long boat but rewarding

I enjoyed my stay at this resort in the middle of Borneo. The location by the beautiful rainforest and on the beautiful lake was absolutely breathtaking. The hotel facilities were impressive, especially the spacious lobby with free Wi-Fi and recreational activities like pool tables and table tennis. The cleanliness of the rooms was commendable, and they were also spacious and comfortable. The staff provided courteous service and were always helpful. Additionally, the breakfast had a wide selection of options that I enjoyed.
Everything was spot on.

Fantastic for peace and quiet, excellent service and food was very good
the journey from kuching took 4+ hours and we were not advised of the extra cost for the transfer (130 MR each) until booking into the Hilton the night before

During my New Year's stay, I absolutely loved the peacefulness and beauty of the location. The surrounding area was breathtaking, with its stunning views of nature. Exploring the local Iban longhouse was a unique and enriching experience. visiting the waterfall was a highlight, thanks to the lovely guide and longboat driver who made the trip enjoyable. The friendly wait staff also added to the positive atmosphere and made me feel welcomed throughout my stay.
There were a couple of downsides to my experience. some activities were not available during my stay, and I only found out after I asked about them.

The location of the hotel was perfect for a quiet getaway. It was situated in a beautiful natural setting, surrounded by stunning scenery and a peaceful environment. The traditional design of the hotel was a unique touch that added to the charm of the place.- The staff was very friendly and helpful, always willing to assist with any requests or inquiries.
The cleanliness of the hotel room and the common areas left much to be desired. The lack of activities provided by the hotel was a downside, as there were not many options for guests to keep themselves entertained.

The resort is nestled in the heart of a beautiful rainforest, offering a tranquil and peaceful setting for families with kids. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a long day of exploring. The friendly and attentive staff ensures excellent service, making guests feel welcome and taken care of. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of delicious dishes to start the day off right. the resort provides various outdoor activities, such as guided canopy walks and boat rides on the stunning lake.
The food options at the resort's restaurant could be improved, with limited choices and overcooked dishes as mentioned in one of the reviews.
