Editorial review:

Barton Creek Resort And Spa is gorgeous all around and is great if you love golf. It has four beautiful golf courses, but non-golfers also love it here. The rooms are open and bright and were recently redone. The spa is great, as is the restaurant. The prices are a bit much, according to some, and there are convention-goers all over.

Verified Reviews:

  • Room was super clean - View is amazing - Meeting facilities are spacious
  • Food was amazing - Fitness facilities are much larger than your typical hotel fitness facility
  • Accommodations were beautiful - Great amenities - Lavish breakfast buffet is well-priced at $18.95
  • Beautiful rooms - Excellent spa and fitness center - Quick valet and room service
  • Terrific grounds - Large rooms - Food is very expensive

comfort of the room; courtesy of staff - everyone said Good Morning each day; beauty of surrounding area; outstanding food.

      Nothing was not good.

Beautiful surroundings. Was upgraded to a room with a view upon arrival. Very friendly helpful staff.

Spa seemed a little outdated. Steam room smelt like a dirty locker room - disappointing.

Barton Creek is near the home of my son's new inlaws. I chose the resort because it was proximate to the location of his wedding at their home. I will continue to stay there when I visit (from Nashville) my son and his wife and her family - it was an excellent choice for my purposes. I also appreciated being able to print out my boarding pass at the business center. The hotel is a little pricey but I loved the fitness center (did not have time to use the spa).

Large rooms. Had a room with view.

There were ants all over our room - disgusting - but too late to change rooms. Front Desk did not offer any accomodations to compensate for this. Bed wasn't comfy

The mini fridge was locked and had to have someone bring a key if uyou want a drink...ridiculous! The price was outrageous for what they offer and restaurant was way too expensive ! I would not book another stay here.

Always friendly staff and nice rooms. Very quiet resort to relax and just be away from your regular routine. Can't beat the deal we got on the room.

Gonna need more kid friendly events to keep families coming. Not sure why you would do smores for 1 hour in the 100' temperature from 5pm-6pm. Not the best idea not fun. Also, even though the holiday was during the week it would have been nice to acknowledge it with decore, small hotel events something. We had to leave the resort to enjoy the 4th of July.

The staff was more than helpful and very courteous............we did visit the late night bar and had excellent service from the bartender and the servers.....had a great time playing shuffleboard! The room was very nice and the bed extra comfy, quiet most of the time............

I know it is expensive to maintain a place like this and the golf course as well although I do feel nickel and diming people is a little over the top. We had to pay for printing tickets because we lost ours to Austin City Limits. Having to pay for the internet (which most hotels give you free) and little charges that don't seem like much but can add up to alot.
