We stayed for 3 nights at Hotel Baross and overall it was a very nice hotel and great value for money.
Although, I would recommend if you do stay here to book on the internet, as our price was vastly different(by about £30 or so) to the actual hotel price!
Quiet and cool hotel, interesting building, good for the price.
I'd give Baross 4 out of five because it is a nice hotel and is good value.
Convenient situation just close to Keleti station, the hotel location is very good and all the staff here are excellent.
The location is just across from the central train station, the hotel is very well located on Baross Ter and the staff are very friendly.

Close to the railway station(we had an very early morning train and was efficient for catching a taxi to the airport the neext AM.
We got a double bed by mistake (we actually wanted twin beds), but we were told that they "didn't have any left" (perhaps bad room allocation?
The room had a good sized double bed with suitable furniture and a mini-bar and a tele with some 50 channels.
We paid approx $80 USD per night (I am sure that people pay more in busy times) for a large room overlooking the surprisingly quiet shopping area around the station with a double bed and two singles.
The bathroom was imacculate and the bed was extremely comfortable.
The room had a TV and minibar and was en-suite.

Breakfast variety of buffet food not great and coffee very cold.
Breakfasts were good,coffee-mashine made good coffee.
They even prepared a breakfast package as we had to leave too early, a nice selection of Hungarian mild yellow peppers.
Nice location, clean hotel and the reception staff were exceptionally good.
Moreover staff was polite and courteous, professional receptionist were helpful and accomodating.

Clean and quiet room, the best of staying Baross was that they packed my breakfast.
The staff was friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was nice as well.
