  The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, and every member of the staff was helpful and friendly. Getting a shuttle ride into Sharm (the resort was a little outside of town) was easy, and we simply took a cheap cab ride back in the evening which was easier than worrying about making a shuttle. Staff also made good suggestions for nightlife and places to see, both in Sharm itself, as well as in the surrounding area.

  The food here was good, we are both vegetarians and we had plenty of choice everyday. We booked the Italian for about 5 of the 11 nights we stayed and found the food excellent and Omar the waiter made us feel welcome and couldn't do enough for us. One thing to mention is that if you are all inclusive you must make a reservation for the Italian or you will have to pay.

  The nightlife is quite poor really, we didn't go to Naama Bay as we didn't like getting pestered by shop owners so we just stayed around the hotel. You do not get bottles of water at the bars for free which we didn't like as it was very hot but at lunch and dinner you can get 2 or 3 big bottles no problems.

  The hotel is clean and beautiful and the food is really good. We had booked a double a room and they tried to insist on us taking a twin. The room: Very spacious and clean with excellent Air Con - excactly as described/pictured on the website to be fair and although the bathroom could have done with a little updating, you could not really complain about anything in the room at all - except the bed, which was really hard. They do have a pillow menu though so this can at least help your head to get a bit of comfort, if you like your bed as hard as a door you'll love it.

  The problems we expereinced in this hotel were purely to do with the management and some members of the staff. The shower was really powerful and there was always hot water and no water pressure issues. If you know you don't want to use it ask at reception for it to be emptied. Bars: Now this is where you may start getting annoyed with the lack of service.

  The staff were very good and the hotel was clean, that is the only plus about this hotel 5* I think not!

  We were supposed to be in a delux room, there was nothing delux about it. Room 237 it was noisy 24-7 because of the staff having a room next door which they used to do washing up etc. Food - Do not eat a this hotel, me and my partner were sick for most of the holiday, what food we did eat was terrible.

  Myself and my partner stayed at the Baron in the middle of march for 7 nights and thought the hotel and staff were excellent. Good points include: 2 pools, long stretch of beach, spa/ gym facilities, internet and games room, selection of restaurants (indian/ italian/ seafood/ buffet + beach bars/ snacks), large selection at breakfast buffet, cleanliness of resort, onsite large selection of tourist shops (although shop assistants pushy as they are everywhere).

  Bad points: quite far from nama bay (20min drive) and have to be quick (lot of demand) to get the mini bus provided (only a selected times are free), standard rooms have no double beds i.

  About 5 miles out of Naama Bay but with a hotel bus available, we preffered being a little out. The whole complex is spotless with so many staff it makes your head spin. We found all the staff to be so freindly, courteous and obliging, with nothing too much trouble. Breakfast had an amazing range of food on offer, all presented and cooked perfectly. The pool area is quite vast with ample loungers ( sometimes the Italians were down early to grab their spot, but this did not detract from the area), and from what we saw of the Baron Palm pool, quite long and narrow, the Baron Resort pool wins hands down. Prices in the bars and restaurants in the Baron Resort are, I believe, very reasonable.

  We ate at all the restaurants and were not disappointed with any of the meals we had.

  The hotel is spotless, the staff are friendly and the food is good (especially the indian restarurant). There is plenty of outdoor space for walking, the grounds are kept very clean and tidy and my 2 year old enjoyed walking around, looking at the waterfalls and speaking to the staff, who always made an effort to say hello. Everyone is very friendly and helpful and we can echo every other comment posted on this site about this hotel. Only downfall (which we have informed the hotel about) is that tea and coffee making facilities would have been welcomed but the mini bar had to make do! I can also recommend you try the saltwater pool on the second level - it is cold but very refreshing!

  Cleanliness and friendliness of staff first class. Good choice of eating places within the resort. Everything was excellent about this hotel.

  It could have concerned only Russian tourists that the hotel puts them first in the very backyard of the hotel and you have to come over to the reception to ask for another room. We have managed to solve this problem without any additional charge, but some other Russian guests were not as lucky as we were (probably due to their inability to communicate in English with the staff). The rest was perfect, the Sinai restaurant provides a large choice of dishes, very tasty (tastes differ, for me the food was OK), but after a week you really get bored to this choice and start to look for something new and do not find any. Rooms are big, nice, clean and comfortable ehough. After all I rate my experience as excellent and would recommend anyone to visit the hotel.
