Baron Palms

Rooms, staff, food, location, pools, beach are all fantastic.

It was in an ideal location in a quiet area with other beautiful hotels surrounding it.

This is an ideal location for peace and tranquility.

Booked the hotel car to pick us up from airport for 75LE on the way back it was 65LE much better than the taxi's, a couple who were on our flight were charged 100LE from a blue/white taxi.

This happened several days before we left, but they chose to wait until we were getting into a taxi to go to the airport before demanding this payment.

At the meeting with them we were told their were no rooms in the Baron Palms with double beds and two bathrooms, for which we showed him the brochure showing the room and he said no rooms available but he would get us a double bed within 30 minutes.

The bedrooms are very spacious with a king size bed and a three quarter bed, they have two bathrooms, coloured TV ,telephone, fridge and a big bonus for me was a safe in the room which you did not have to rent.

The rooms were big with a queens size bed and a large single bed, there were two separate bathrooms with toilet and sink, one with shower.

Our room was a family room with both a single and king size bed, two toilet rooms each with a sink and one with a shower.

The rooms were cleaned to a high standard every day and the occasional "towel surprises" were left in our room, together with a sprinkling of fresh flowers on the bed linen which was a lovely touch.

We ate in the paradise pool bar (both lunch and a-la- carte evening ), egyptain restaurant, main buffet (tiran restuarant) and oaid to eat in the indian and italian (it cost £15 in total for two courses for two people-no lie!

45am), and the two restaurants (the pool bar and the egyptian restaurant) need to be booked before 9.

Tiran buffet restaurant for breakfast and lunch and has a different theme each night, but also has standard dishes as well.

Through the day you could eat in the buffet restaurant or at the pool bar again very good.

The food was very good, as part of the AI you have the buffet restaurant, Egyptian, and pool bar which turns into a candle lit restaurant at night.

The General Manager (Yasser) and his team of managers and staff are to be congratulated on the quality of their service.

The reception staff we awful, barely spoke english, customer service was completly alien to them, no concept of that at all!

We were checked in quickly and the reception staff were really friendly and the manager even gave us a brief talk of the hotel facilities etc.

Hasaan in the gym & spa was very helpful and I reccomend him if you need anything.

Special thanks to Hassan at the Lobby bar and the waiters at the Pool Bar.

We didn't use the gym/steam/sauna facilities however booked the Egyptian massage (250E or?

2008 that a 5* hotel doesn't have free Wi-Fi).

The hotel rooms were clean, eating areas were spotless, You did not have to get of your sunbed if you wanted a drink from the bar,as there was a waiter always walking past and you could order a drink from him.

The room - 100% spotless incredibly clean.

The hotel was so clean, the toilets by the pool and in the reception were cleaned every couple of hours and there was a continuous supply of fresh clean flannels for drying your hands.

The rooms are big with a twin and a double and so so clean and fresh.
