The staff indicated to me that this is a well run hotel, but one that is in dire need of a remodel, a price adjustment, or both.
I stayed in other cities in Spain at nicer "resort" hotels for 1/2 the price with more to offer.
I think it costs about €12 to get there from the hotel.

The location was great and located at Av.
The hotel itself is a fairly modern building in a prime business location on Ave Diagonal close to shopping and a Euro 15 taxi ride to the seafront and main square.
The taxi fares from the Airport to the Hotel is around €20.
From there you can get a taxi to Sagrada Familiar for around €15 or get the subway from one of the many stops.

The room was not large, but was spacious enough for a massive and very comfortable bed, a separate area for a study desk and a good sized bathroom.
The room is simple, comfortable bed and clean.
All sorts of nice surprises in the room - take with you slippers, nice toiletries, great bed, etc.
Not sure if they had a restaurant or not as the lounge had mixed drinks, beer, soda, food at night and wonderful mini-buffet for breakfast.
Bar in the executive lounge were great and the breakfast was very nice.
Hotel bar/restaurant were nice, the staff were friendly and the air conditioning was blowing cool air.
There is great shopping and restaurants in both directions upon exiting the hotel, and we agree with the last reviewer that the Si Senor restaurant located right outside the hotel is great!
Lobby and bar/cafe both very nice, breakfast terrific.

The lobby was spacious, the front desk staff were extremly friendly and efficient, the concierge was helpful and courteous.
The pool area is excellent, the hotel is a bit better than your average Hilton and the lobby décor is very modern and tasteful.
