The amazing staff will absolutely spoil you at this magical country inn dating back to the 16th century. Charles I and Oliver Cromwell have stayed here. There are some rooms in the old sections and more modern sections that have beautiful four-poster beds with amazing linens. The grounds are stunning and the spa is great.

Quiet, peaceful atmosphere gym gardens, friendly, attentive staff and minor gripes being burning hot water in taps. Breakfast was very nice.
