  The theatre hosts excellent performers and performances, beach was good. The coffee shop was great and the Japanese and Brazilian place was fun and decent. The staff were very helpful and friendly, all the bathrooms we experienced were damp and leaked. The food was nice and for the price, we had a wonderful week in the Caribbean.

  Beach is good and clean, awesome coffee shop you have to try too. The Japanese restaurant is by far the best food at the place and the lobby is fun and colorful. The entertainment staff is always cheerful and very friendly, punta Cana has wonderful water and sand, the bar tenders at the disco are very nice also.

  The rating on the travel brochure is somewhat misleading, the buffets are pretty bad too and local people are lame and lazy.

  The beach is great and the snack shop is close to the pool as well as the convenience store. I traveled to Punta Cana in search of beautiful beaches and the Seaweed staff do a good job of cleaning everyday. Clean cold air conditioning and the bar's are excellent.

  Waiters friendly – never seemed to have a empty glass, my Spanish is very limited and had no trouble w/communication.

  The beach is lovely, the rooms are satisfactory considering affordable this hotel is and snack bar is good. Food is excellent and American money is fine there. The gardens are spectacular.

  The beach is just gorgeous, the food is real good to and the Spanish,Italian and Japenese are excellent. The pool is huge and clean.

  Worst hotel experience ever, the entertainment staff do work hard and are not pushy, room Condition BAD.

  The island was very nice, the view from our room , was room 5210, was lovely and the Barcelo Dominican Beach Resort was a beautiful place. The steak house was good, the price was great and staff were polite, and happy to see you. The water was always warm, christmas meal was excellent and the maids were very sweet. The pools were always clean.

  The beach is beautiful and big buffet is way too hot. The Brazilian is pretty good too and the spa is lovely too.

  The beach was absolutely beautiful, the room had a nice pool view and I was just amazed, the Spanish place was good and very pretty inside. The price was right, and i was completely relaxed i came home, the service was great and was very romantic. The water was clear – warm like a bath and, the food was great, even my wife liked and first Choice Rep was lovely and friendly.

  Just returned from a great week at ocean bavaro, lecafe coffee shop 1 of the best things in the complex and good value for money. Upon arriving my first impression of the lobby was nice was, bathroom was great, clean and the food was okay we only got to go to one restaurant and that was the Japanese and was amazing.

  The ocean cana buffet is worth the walk over, also the 24hr food stand had the most amazing pizza.

  The beach and landscaping were great, the hotel was beautiful, the coffee shop by the lobby was good too. The rooms were very nice, the buffet food was just ok, the a la cart food was delicious.

  Nice place, most staff extremely friendly and engaging, our room was very clean, neat, and cool w/ AC. Bars all were good and the food was great.
