It's excellent inside out. We celebrated birthday with one of the friends at their restaurant, food quality and environment is very good. Decent room, quality furniture and good staff.

Friendliness of staff & the service they provided in a beautiful secluded location. We were staying in the self catering cottages with a group of friends which we found to be very comfortable & clean. I certainly would not hesitate to book again if we were to find ourselves in this area of Scotland in the future.
Although there were drinks available, the hotel itself did not have a bar, but as it was explained to us, the hotel management felt that a drinks service was more intimate when served by the staff, which was ideal if you were travelling as a couple & staying in the hotel for a romantic break.

Hotel was superb, lovely warm welcome from Jonny. My little dog was made most welcome as well. Food fantastic. This hotel ticks all the boxes. Our dinner and breakfast were excellent.
The shower was very difficult to operate! Could not regulate the temperature, it was either too hot or too cold! But this is not in anyway a complaint but something the management could perhaps check out.

Quiet
I think the hotel is suited to older couples. I should have done more research. The menu is a specialist menu that does not suit our tastes. We will check menus as well as reviews prior to booking in future at any hotel.

We had very limited contact with the staff as we were self-catering but they seemed very friendly. The quality of bedding , towels, utensils etc. was very good. The location was lovely with excellent gardens plenty of garden furniture and adequate parking.
The cottage we were in could do with a bit of a facelift, especially the flooring and the bathroom, although it was very clean. The kitchen utensils were of good quality but a bit sparse. A couple of things e.g. a cafitiere and a collinder would help. Some oven dishes too. It was a bit costly for the standard of accomodation.

The staff on hand were very helpful and the hotel was very nice.
The hotel had no staff on site for any of the services and the booking was not booked in and our room was down graded as they did have any of the rooms left that we booked.
