The setting of hotel was stunning and exceptionally nice, in the pubs. Moreover, it was just off Loch Creran and Glencoe, a Scottish castle and an establishment. Sensational breakfast with tasty bacon was a nice touch.

Nice comfy base for 1 night with incredibly nice and exceptional staff in comparison to the managers & staff. An absolutely amazing hotel, my first choice in Oban.

The hotel was great, we loved its professional staff. Stunning and beautiful location, the free parking was available. There were a small market and small markets around the venue.

We had a really unforgettable holiday here and would definitely recommend. The venue's position was secluded. You could walk to a small market and small markets.

We had 1 special day here, recommend the place. The hotel was amazing and great in general, had incredibly nice staff in comparison to the managers & staff. The location was stunning and great for exploring this lovely area, next to sightseeing in the more touristy surrounding towns, Scotland and modern conveniences. Plus it was 10 mins drive from Lochan Dubh.

The hotel offers a great selection of food that was high quality. This place is in a stunning location in lush green fields. And it's nestled in an amazing building just off an establishment.

We enjoyed it and couldn't recommend more the place. We had a very comfortable stay thanks to hotel's amazingly nice staff. It was in a secluded setting to stay in a castle.

I went on a trip and everything here was modern. Overall it was brand-new and well presented with stone cool walls. The property's location was peaceful, whilst in the area.

My stay at the Barcaldine Castle Bed & Breakfast was an absolute dream come true. The 17th Century castle is stunning, with incredible architecture and a beautiful location near a charming village. The owner, Veronica, was an absolute gem and made our stay unforgettable. The Barcaldine Room was cozy and comfortable, and the shared lounge with a grand fireplace was the perfect place to relax with other guests. The nearby Hawthorn at Benderloch treated us to a lovely dinner, and the breakfast at Barcaldine was delicious. I can't wait to return to this incredible castle!

The whole experience was outstanding, nothing too much trouble, would recomand. The hotel was what we appreciated during trip. Had a great meal in the lounge area. The staff were excellent and competent day and night. The location was peaceful and absolutely perfect, in a Scottish castle. Besides, it was near to the Highlands, Scotland, and a loch.

Staying overnight in this interesting old castle was such a unique experience. The location right on the waterfront added to the charm, and the stone cool walls gave the rooms a historic feel. The staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, and the basic amenities were all provided. We loved relaxing in the huge couches in front of the massive fireplace, and our ensuite bedrooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast, especially the tasty bacon, was a wonderful way to start the day.

All was absolutely splendid.
