I think this is the worst thing about the hotel, the location is really inconvenient, especially if you are a first timer to Barcelona.
Despite this, I am happy with the hotel overall apart from its location.
I agree with the other reviewers - location is very challenging to find especially if you are a first-timer in Barcelona, and it is a good 20-30 min ride back to Barcelona (if you dont get lost), but other than that I was completely satisfied with what this 3* hotel had to offer for $70-80 per night.
From Pl Catalunya you will need to get the train to Barbera Del Valles (Barbera del Valles) It might not appear on all of the metro maps - if you are looking for the train station on the map it is in the north east.
The shopping center including Carrefour is two minute by foot away from the hotel, the great thing about the bus is the fact that you can get on and staff is very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is clean and the rooms are a decent size with lovely modern bathrooms.
The hotel does provide lovely white bath sheets, TV (Spanish), they left a toothbrush & toothpaste, soap, shampoo, shower gel, razor & shaving cream, tissues and even a shoe cleaner.
The room is furnished business style which measures with the best 4 star business hotels, breakfast was good and service was good.
Although you'll get the room cheap, it overall works out expensive.

Reasonable prices on bar and breakfast was good.
The Baricentro shopping mall is around the back of the hotel, it took about 3 minutes to get there and it had about 80 shops including supermarkets, restaurants and bars.
Breakfast is 12 Euros (we didn’t eat there, but it looked nice).
The ticket will also get you into many of the attractions at a cheaper rate and it even has discounts on restaurants.

The hotel was well located and service was good.
Good hotel, around 30-40 minutes going to central Barcelona by train and staff is very friendly and helpful.
They have a computer in the lobby, however, it was really slow and unreliable.
The hotel is in the middle of no-where so it would be beneficial to hire a car if you stay there, although parking in Barcelona’s city centre is very limited.
But on the other hand, for people on budget - parking is free (unlike the centre of Barcelona), and the hotel is cheap and good, so once you learn your way back into Barcelona, there really should be no complaints.
