With all its rooms facing the ocean and balconies featuring lounge chairs and hammocks, you won't be able to tear yourself away. The architecturally flawless Mexican style hotel is built on the side of a mountain, overlooking its own private beach, as well as four swimming pools and a lobby bar perfect for watching the sunset.

Overview

The Banyan Tree Phuket Hotel is situated next to the golden beach and crystal waters of the Andaman Sea, close to the Bang Tao Bay, the Sirinat National Park, the Thalang National Museum and the monument to Thao Thep Kasattri and Thao Sri Sunthon.

The five-star resort opened in 1994 boasts traditional Thai-style villas with extraordinary roofs and tranquil interior decorations. There also are few restaurants and bars, outdoor swimming pool, great spa facilities, spacious poolside terrace and three meeting rooms.

Guests are offered 173 luxurious villas with elegant Thai décor, equipped with air conditioning, private bathroom with bathrobe, complimentary amenities, bathtub, hair dryer, direct dial telephone, in-room safe, mini-bar, refrigerator and satellite TV.

The room always smelled really fresh, the Thai restaurant Saffron was superb as was the Mediterranean Watercourt and the facilities were quite nice.
Nice black/gold/white modern thai design, our guest services host was very helpful and our room was spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was fantastic fresh tuna in wasabi and we also both used the spa was superb.

Great hotel, truly friendly staff and a dedicated room is definitely needed and would be greatly utilized. The breakfast is fantastic and served 11am, the Italian too is good, there spa villa's are one of the best.

Villa premises were very nice, overall the food quality and service was excellent, staff were fantastic from beginning to end always friendly. The bed linens were magnificent, the pool was of good size and attached to there was a jacuzzi, the daily breakfast buffet was amazing. Our chef mac was just perfect, the gym was a little small and lightly equipped.

Very peaceful surroundings, the best villa in Phuket island and many very good restaurants nearby. Fabulous place to stay, worth the money and the staff were nice and facility was nice and clean. Wonderful view, the beach is fantastic and a truly authentic Thai massage and in the best setting. The service is excellent and the rooms are designed very well. The pillow cases are super soft and great food experience in all restaurants. The pool itself is sparkling clean and clear.
