A very comfortable hotel in a great location at very affordable price.
The Balmoral offers great value and appeal for a 3 star hotel in a good location.
However, the French do not do refunds so it is pointless asking for your money back, especially when it is a small independent hotel rather than a big chain.
The location is very good, nicely located Hotel is small.
Despite it's location it was very quiet (barring the English group who kept us awake for hours on our last night) We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again.
The location is great because you can either walk to all of the major tourist sights or take the subway which is only 2 blocks away.
15-20 mins from Gare du Nord by taxi and there is an airport bus stop a couple of mins away + taxi ranks as well.
Great location for visiting Paris, especially for just a weekend (as we were doing) - close walk to Arc d T and Champs E and metro station has a choice of lines.

This is a lovely hotel, the staff having a smattering of english, apart from the receptionist who was very fluent and made us really welcome.
