The breakfast is hot served with dessert, a latte and bacon. The venue is placed in a central position right near Brockenhurst which is central for everything.

My room was neat and the view of the sunset over the new forest was brilliant. Everything was good. As for me, the location was great, really close to the New Forest-Lyndhurst, Lymington and Brockenhurst, the main restaurant and beautiful gardens.

It was in a stunning and magnificent location not far from Balmer Lawn as a base for exploring the New Forest, the seaside B and the new forest with horse riding near bye. Also, Setley Ridge Vineyard was 3 km away.

The hotel is relaxing and spotlessly clean, has wonderful views of the sunset over the new forest. The venue has huge rooms and very friendly and genuinely helpful staff with 5 star service. It includes really nice restaurant for a good meal at the restaurant.

The rooms where modern with the windows open, the stuff were perfectly pleasant. The venue was set in the central position just off the new forest enjoyed by kids and adults alike, the coast, Beauleiu and the restaurant.

They gave us a well-kept and tastefully decorated room with coffee facilities and a cute ‘ grassy' balcony plus tea. The location was magnificent, 30 km to Bournemouth airport, perfectly reachable.

This place is ideal for a short break, nestled in the heart of a beautiful natural setting. With its fabulous location on Balmer Lawn, I enjoyed walking and strolling through the stunning surroundings, surrounded by ponies and the relaxing sound of birds singing all day and night. Plus, it's just a short walk away from dog-friendly walks, making it perfect for couples and families who want to explore the New Forest with their furry friends.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The room was good-sized and well-organised with views over the forest, all the facilities, big windows and the breakfast was plentiful! The location was stunning and lovely, really close to the hotel's restaurant, and the New Forest and the South Coast. Having different welcome drinks in the main bar was a very nice touch.

Facilities were good, even so Wi-Fi was very poor.

As a tourist, I loved the good location of the hotel, with plenty of seating in the grounds. The bed in my room was comfortable and there was always plenty of hot water with a powerful shower. The main dining room offered a buffet breakfast with a good variety of choices and the a la carte dinner menu was also impressive.

The staff at Balmer Lawn were extremely friendly and professional, making me feel like they were family and that nothing was too much trouble. However, it did get slightly tiresome to be repeatedly instructed by every member of staff to "enjoy the rest of your morning/afternoon/evening/day/weekend.

It was a great quality and charming old 4-star hotel, exceeded high expectations. The staff were well-trained and amazingly attentive, everything was very good.
