  Staff friendly, food good.

  At nearly £200 for a night the hotel is definitely overpriced, birds nesting outside our window that faced a brick wall meant we could not open the window at night.

  Restaurant staff very attentive, good indoor and outdoor pool.

  A little disappointing inside as the hotel is dated, tv is too small and could be positoned better.

  Lovely location, competative price compared to other hotels in the locality and lots of helpful staff everywhere cleaning and Polishing. Good rooms, superb food and nice spa.

  Position in the e forest was very good, the facilities in the hotel and around were excellent, staff overall were friendly and helpful. The changing room showers were wonderful.

  Good situation, lovely hotel in a lovely location and the staff we encountered were most polite, friendly and efficient. Bed was very large, clean and comfortable, the food was excellent.

  The outdoor seating area was lovely and the hotel restuarant was of a good standard. Staff were well trained and the bedrooms were very clean and comfortable. Breakfasts were truly excellent.

  Perfect location, friendly staff, comfortable and attractive room and ensuite bathroom, excellent amenities brilliant food well worth a stay, good service. The outdoor one especially nice, clean and lovely furniture, coffee topped up at 6pm. Nice pool and leisure facilities.

  Our room was light and welcoming and the view stunning, food was of good quality. The staff were excellent.

  Our bedroom had not been renovated and was quite small and dated and far too warm, the breakfast was very poorly organised.

  The swimming pool/jucuzzi/changing room area were nice and provided a relaxing end to the day, the service was excellent throughout my stay, staff were superb.

  The hotel looked lovely, nice friendly staff and tea making facs in room all new. A good buffet breakfast, heated outdoor pool.

  Requires modernisation of communal areas and as a old building.

  The hotel has a great location and is very dog friendly, this was the reason we chose this hotel, the rooms have been substantially modernised, and the spa updated.

  Lovely furnishing, different from the normal flatpack hotel, friendly staff and good bathroom. Nice gym.
