Wonderful location with fabulous views. The quietness, tranquility was just amazing. Perfect for that little weekend get-away and to top it all off, the unbelievably fantastic food and service. I also loved, that one could sit in the foyer in front of the lovely wood fire and have a glass of wine or whiskey, every effort was made to make the stay a memorable one. All in all, a really and truly lovely hotel, set in a wonderful setting..

Friendly staff, excellent food, and beautiful location. The staff greeted us warmly upon arrival and quickly showed us to our superb room. We were given plenty of information about the hotel and the surrounding area, which made us feel relaxed and welcome. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious and served with great quality and service. The walks around the area were amazing, and the overall beauty of the location made it even more enjoyable. Plus, after a lovely dinner, we could sit beside a cozy log fire and unwind.
The bill format was a bit confusing, and it made us question whether we were paying extra VAT. Although after examining it closely, we realized the bill was correct.

I knew all staff names after the first night, they were all professional and yet great fun. Patrick and Des are amazing managers. The hotel is old world luxury surrounded by the most beautiful countryside in the world. Food for the soul. There for the Connemarathon, dropped off 20 mins before the race began- where else in the world would that happen!
