our stay at baia del capitano was absolutely incredible. after our previous stay in cefalu, we didn't think it could get any better, but baia del capitano exceeded all expectations. the staff was friendly, the room was amazing with a hot tub and breathtaking view, and the private beach with a bar was the cherry on top.

Transport into town was limited.

Quiet, good breakfast, great staff. Clean venue. Good place to drive to see nearby towns/villages. If you are a fan of the beach it is accessible, although in August it is a hotbed.

Expensive for the services it offers (undoubtedly a good agroturismi of the many on the island offers a much better value for money). Small room with antique furniture, small bathroom with a fair maintenance: toilet bowl loose and leaks. Small swimming pool and in the swimming pool bar only drinks are served. possibility to eat something light (sandwiches or similar) is missed as the restaurant's menu is limited and quite expensive, especially for dinner. Although the use of free hammocks on the beach located 5 minutes walk away is to be welcomed, beach is a hotbed in August. If you like the beach at all costs, it is comfortable and has services (toilets, showers, bar) but it is a mess where at 11 am there are so many people stirring the sand that the water is completely murky and you will not even see your hands. Interesting to go there early and enjoy the water, then stop having a minimum interest. Unless you are an unyielding lover of the lounger and sand won't last more than two sessions.

The hotel had comfortable beds, spotlessly clean rooms, and a beautiful pool. The staff were incredibly helpful, making us feel like valued guests. The breakfast was fantastic with lots of choices.

For us it was ideal.

It is a very nice and quite place - birds waked us in the morning. The . environment is romantic. Personal is excellent (english speaking and very helpfull)

It doesn't matter a lot, but the shower cabin is extremly small (related to the lardge and comfortable bath room). The hotel is rather far from the Cefalú, so that the usage of the car is mandatory. There is a shuttel service , from the hotel, but anyway one is quite limited in time using the service (last shuttle at 5 o'clock pm, last bus at 6:15 pm)

Eating in the garden restaurant, relaxing atmosphere, nice walk to local beach and really helpful and friendly staff

Extremely uncomfortable pillows! A great one or two night stop, but a little out of the way for a longer stay. Pool was nice, but the surrounds not pretty ( black ugly uncomfortable chairs and no plants ) - such a contrast to the lovely garden and bar area.

I recently stayed at this luxurious 4-star hotel and I had a fantastic experience. The location of this place is absolutely perfect, situated in a posh area with a large parking area, making it convenient for guests like me who had a car. The room was impeccable and had all the amenities I needed, including ironing facilities, a mini-bar, and a comfortable sitting area. The staff here provided top-notch service, with room service and housekeeping always being prompt and attentive. I also enjoyed the beautiful terrace where I could relax and enjoy the stunning views.

I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

We liked the view from the rooftop over the bay.

We paid extra for a room with sea view and balcony but was presented a room without. After some discussion we got a room with balcony but no sea view.

We were impressed by the cleanliness of the hotel and the comfortable beds. The pool was great and the beach access, including sunbeds and towels, was a nice touch. Breakfast was fantastic and the jacuzzi bath in our room was a luxurious treat. The staff, especially Vincenzo, were very helpful. The free shuttle to town was a convenient bonus.

We felt very happy, no complaints.

Space beach a little narrow

This resort is located in a quiet, posh area outside of the city center, making it a peaceful getaway. The large garden is perfect for relaxation and there is ample parking. The rooms are kept clean and the staff provides great service. Guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast with a variety of options. The pool area offers plenty of chairs for sunbathing, and there are tennis courts and a playground for children.

The coffee served outdoors is not drinkable.

Nice stopping off point on or travel around Italy. Easy to find and a beautiful view. Food was okay.

Shower was small and the wait staff were pleasant and efficient but not very warm. The front desk were excellent!!

Quiet anad away from the tourist city of Cefalu but close enough for a 10 minute drive. Spa bathtub was my wife's favorite. Staff was very accomdating and friendly. Dinner at Hotel restaurant was excellent and wine reasonable. It was the start of the rainy season so we did not do much outdoors however we would return during the sunny months to avail ourselves of the beach and pool.
