Well-maintained and quiet hotel

Breakfasts were exceptionally good and outstanding.

Our room was spotless and updated, equipped with balloons and decent temperature and a mini fridge. The service was excellent, the food was great. This was a quiet and beautiful hotel with a remote location in an absolutely gorgeous area of the Samana Peninsula.

The room was cleaned daily however cleanliness was average and available with a mini fridge stocked daily with beer, decent temperature. The service was good, including a quick check-in.

I had hot drinks in the main bar. I had a wonderful experience at Bahia Principe Grand El Portillo in Las Terrenas. The beautiful surroundings, exceptional service from the staff, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom, well-maintained pool. The beach restaurant also served delicious food.

Beautiful and fairly clean accommodation with great location short walk to the French restaurants as well as another stunning beach. Quick check-in and simple check-out, parking on site. Main bar and nice pool.

Hotel's room was good-sized with a pleasant view of the gardens which were very well-kept.

This place is situated in a lovely spot close to restaurants and various activities, and the breakfast here is exceptional.

The complementary fruit basket and champagne were a nice touch for our Christmas stay. The beach location was great, just a short walk to the water, and the coral reef was full of colorful fish. The shaded areas on the beach were a relief from the sun.

The buffet food was mediocre and lacked variety, and the staff didn't seem very friendly or accommodating. The room was a bit cramped and the bathroom needed updating.

I was pleasantly surprised with the beautiful beach and the spacious renovated rooms. The quiet pool was a nice relaxing atmosphere with comfortable bean bag chairs. The Brazilian restaurant was excellent and the staff at the main buffet restaurant were amazing. I would definitely return to this smaller resort.

Although some guests reserved beach chairs early, I still never had a problem finding a spot. The lobby bar closing at 11 was a downside, but that's understandable.

The buffet meal leaves a lot to be desired. There's only one pool table and a lot of people wanting to play.

Large, clean venue, clean. Large clean pool. Wonderful beach. nice staff. good attention, It is necessary to register for the restaurants of the night... it is possible to choose where to go and that one attends to the letter, comfortable. I highly recommend it.

A lot of cigar smell. It is possible to smoke in almost all the facilities of the Hotel. Which is very annoying for children or for adults who do not smoke (and more so for asthmatics or other lung diseases).
