As old people, we really enjoyed the spacious rooms, delicious breakfast and dinner options, and friendly staff.

Felt like visiting family, no complaints whatsoever.

the beach boys outside the hotel put you off using the beach outside and we had to ask for a security guard to take us to the Italian restaurant next door which was ridiculous!!

Il covo restaurant, set within 5 minutes' walk, was the best for dining. The hotel is easy walk to Butterfly Pavilion and Nakumatt Nyali.

The hotel offers excellent value for money, with prices that won't break the bank. The attention to detail, from the friendly staff to the basic amenities, is commendable. The location on the pristine Bamburi beach is simply stunning, providing a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The breakfast spread is delicious and gets your day off to a great start.

One minor improvement could be made in the cleanliness of the rooms and towels.

The airconditioning did not work and we booked room with breakfast but the last day I found out that we had paid for half board.

We had a fantastic time at the beach hotel. The daily activity plan kept us engaged and made our holiday unforgettable. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable. The location, close to the beach, was perfect. The pool was great, and there were plenty of activities to keep us occupied. The food was delicious with a great variety of options. we highly recommend this hotel for a superior vacation experience.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! the location is simply amazing - right on the beautiful Bamburi beach. The pristine sands and clear blue waters were absolutely breathtaking. Secondly, the staff were exceptional - from the friendly and hardworking restaurant hostess to the helpful receptionist. They made me feel welcomed and went above and beyond to ensure I had a great time. Lastly, the value for money was unbeatable. The prices were reasonable and the hotel provided great basic amenities, from the clean and comfortable rooms to the delicious breakfast. it was a fantastic experience.

No major issues, everything was great!

Well located, large rooms with excellent (shared) balcony areas, good restaurant/bar overlooking the beach, hotel security keep hawkers from the beach away from guests (unless you go down onto the beach). Staff were very friendly and spoke good English.

Hawkers on the beach can get annoying after a while. We asked the hotel staff about tours and within minutes a man arrived to talk to us who we thought was from the hotel, it turned out that one of the bar staff did call him but he was not a licensed tour operator and this ended up causing us problems - we spent the last day in the police station to get some of our money back!

Cost is cheap.

1-A/C not working, and this time MBS is very hot. 2- TV poor functioning. 3- Water is a salt one for shower, very salty.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly nice and helpful, ensuring that we had everything we needed during our stay. The food was also a highlight, with the Indian dishes being particularly excellent. Additionally, the location of the hotel, right on the pristine Bamburi beach, was simply breathtaking.

All was wonderful, nothing to improve.

Rooms were very nice,but that is where it ends.

Power goes out every Thursday (apparently) Bamburi does not have a generator, (all resorts around did) which made the room very uncomfortable.

Hotel very low priced compared to the other hotels in the surroundings in front of the beach with EXCELLENT and VERY FRIENDLY and HELPFULL Staff always ready to serve us at any moment.I was really wondered about the very good cleaning ofd the rooms every day. They gave us the bungalow in front of the swimming pool...

As usual in many hotels in Africa that I went already small problems with airconditioning and not always warm water. Also not clear reception on TV and some electric failures from time to time.That's why I hyave to put a fair on the comfort although I liked the very spacious double bed.

We loved the hotel's perfect location right by the beach, and the fact that it was also close to the town center. The cleanliness of the hotel was impressive, and the range of facilities was excellent. Additionally, breakfast was delicious, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.

I have stayed at Bamburi Beach Resort 2 times (2011 and 2012) and will definitly stay there next time in Mombasa. The value for money is extremely good. The rooms are very nice and cozy, and the atmosphare on the premises is very relaxing. The staff is very friendly and service minded without beeing too "pushy".

The hotel has a very bad price/quality balance in comparison with several hotels in the area. -in general the compound has a lot of trash (old building materials and other stuff) hanging around; -the compound is small and lacks breathing space; -there is no seperate parking so cars wake you up at night as they arrive in the compound; -there is no business center and no phone in the rooms; -according to several sources in Bamburi, security is reported to be poor (theft); -the staff is not very skilled contrary to the hotels in the surroundings which are not more expensive ; -breakfast is not included in the room price; -there is only vegetarian food; -the bar/restaurant area could be a nice place but is not a place to relax because the television is always playing loudely or the DJ is trying out his system half of the day; -the shared kitchen/terrace area has as consequence that neighbours wake you up when they are having breakfast in front of your door in the morning; -the management has a very strong 'we don't care' attitude.
