  Clean towels did not appear til 5 to6 pm each day after continuious asking at reception. Apart from the above we had good weather and good time and found the people very friendly, perhaps 7 days was to long.

  Light bulb went in bathroom it took 21/2 hours to get it changed and a couple of calls. Room 219 - to use the wall lights you also had to have the air con on and the TV - all on same switch! Hotel reception, dining room and bar very, very, very cold, dark, drab and dull - no atmosphere at all. Thought the cost of a minibus from the hotel to the airport was expensive 50 dinnar per person - 10 in the bus - watch for taxi fares make sure you agree a price and look at your change, one driver tried to give us Euro's - Also the drivers never have any change so make sure you have small notes ie 20's and 50's also the same in the hotel bar.

  May (for our stay in August 2006) and paid about £18 per room. Each room had three single beds in, but we had four people in two rooms. When we arrived from the airport, we were met at reception by a very friendly man who greeted us by name before showing us to our rooms.

  Your best bet is to take a taxi to the Jemaa el F'na and eat at one of the many food stalls there. The walk from the hotel to the medina took about 45 minutes, which we did a lot of the time, but to be honest it is better to take a yellow taxi, which can fit three people in. Quite often taxi drivers will try to tell you that the meter is not working, in which case the best thing to do is say you're going to get out and find another taxi.

  A buffet dinner and breakfast are included in the price (I didnt know when I booked), but are very basic and repetitive. The staff were not very friendly and only a couple were proficient in Spanish or English.

  The biggest concerns involve the staff and the location.

• Pas cher et basique

  Nous sommes restés trois nuits dans cet hôtel. Nous avions réservé deux chambres adjacentes mais à notre arrivée l’une des deux n’était pas faite (le personnel n’était pas au courant), on nous a donc donné deux chambres situées à deux étages différents. Dans les deux chambres la climatisation était hors service. Quand nous sommes allés nous plaindre, l’unique réponse a été : en effet, elle est hors service. Nous avons donc dû faire sans climatisation pendant trois jours et trois nuits. L’ hôtel n’a pas la télévision par satellite, juste quelques chaînes arabes, alors quand nous n’avions rien à faire nous nous sommes ennuyés. Cet hôtel n’est pas près du centre, pour y aller il faut prendre le bus ou le taxi. Pour ce qui est des aspects positifs, il y a une petite piscine et nous avons bien aimé le petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont équipées d’un petit réfrigérateur. Au rez-de-chaussée on trouve une pharmacie et une épicerie. Pour finir, la dernière nuit une bagarre a éclaté entre les employés et certains d’entre nous ont eu peur ! Je suppose qu’à ce prix-là cela aurait pu être bien pire mais je ne retournerai certainement jamais dans cet hôtel.

• Let me first say, the hotel staff were absolutely lovely and they all spoke English, which was a bonus as my french isn't too great. The food was nice, but it was rather repetitive and only morroccan dishes were available including deserts. Even in the dinning room where restaurants pay good money for mood lighting as they realise it's important and helps people feel at ease, eat more food and feel warm, this hotel had this lighting.

  When taken to our room we were given two single beds when we had originally booked a 1 x king size room. The man on the reception was helpful but we decided not to stay as we had to find a hotel to stay in for our remaining nights there.

  The room was very basic and the bathroom was not very pleasent. I must admit i was dying to jump in the pool though.

  Hotel is excellent value for money and the rooms are basic, but clean. Best advice is to eat in the Jemma el Fna sqaure in the evening - great experience!

  Only grip was the air conditioner / room heater didnt work, and it did get a little cold at night in January. Service - I found it was nothing special.

  Good customer service there are 2 men who work on reception who speak good English they do offer you day trips excursions but check other places like Sahara in Djemaa el-fna who were cheaper or even hire a private taxi which works out cheaper if your in a large family. The rooms were clean & the cleaners came round ever day to tidy up the room. The beds were not very comfortable but bearable.

  I stayed here for 7 nights was given a room with 3 single beds (I only paid for a double plus child £140). But was upgraded to a quad room (4 single beds) free of charge. The hotel is only 15/20 minutes from the Airport you should pay no more than 100DH for a grand taxi (Mercedes).
