Axel Hotel Guldsmeden Copenhagen - 哥本哈根

Its location was great, close to Central Station, Tivoli and the stroget, with almost everything within walking distance.

Excellent location close to train station and the other sister hotel Carlton - the staff always greet me help me.

Very central location and very close to train station.

Ther Vesterbrogade is the main street near the hotel and you can get a bus from there to just about anywhere or walk 2 blocks to the Central Station and be at the airport in 20 mins.

In fact we took a cab from the airport to the hotel but we could have taken the train and walked only 2 blocks.

The bedroom was the same size as ours (although I think we had a larger than average room) and the JS bathroom was a lot smaller but with a classy looking inspired egg-shaped bath-tub and a shower head attached to taps.

The bed was more like a double-sized bed, the bathroom had a tub and fancy sink made of carved stone (the first room had a tiny bathroom with a tiny open shower and normal ceramic sink).

We were very impressed with our room, which had a four poster bed (see photo), flat screen TV, and a very unique stone sink in the bathroom (see photo).

We saw a friends room which was 2/3 our size, with bunk beds instead and no bed tables - our room had double bed tables.

The room was a good size, four poster bed, small balcony and separate large bathroom, especially given european standards.

The hotel was very full the weekend of our stay due to a wedding and some guests were getting a little irate about having to juggle breakfast on their laps in the lobby and reception/bar area.

Moreover the staff were friendly, the bathroom products were nice and furthermore the breakfast was amazing.

Delicious bio-breakfast served from handmade dishes.

Beds are so comfy, as well white sheets and eat breakfast outdoors in good weather.

There were very crowded during the breakfst saturday morning, but it didn't really matter because it was plenty of food, and we found us a nice place at the bar desk, and was served everything there as well.

The location is perfect, the staff have managed to create a nice relaxed atmosphere without the formality of the usual chain hotels and reception: Wouldn't say the best service.

Reception: Wouldn't say the best service, maybe as another reviewer said there are no fake smiles - but helpful and the staff are young/relax and laidback.

The lobby was quite nice, staff was fine and the receptionist was very friendly.

Perhaps they have other rooms that would be better-suited, but the steps on the outside and in the lobby and even things like a little threshold to get over going onto the elevator were a little surprising.

I expect that prices will increase once the pool and spa and courtyard are complete.

The Axel Hotel is definitely going to be a standout hotel option in Copenhagen once they complete construction on their Spa, finish their swimming pool, enlarge their restaurant and iron out their WiFi story and buy some hand towels.

The internet was fast and had wireless thoughout the hotel including the outdoor lounge area.

Room is clean and restaurants is very good.

The lobby is stylish and relaxing, the room was very clean and quite spacious.

The rooms are lovely, fresh pots of coffee are placed on all tables.
