Swimming pool area is perfect, the hotel is great value for money for I stayed and cleaning staff is efficient and educated.

The location was great to get around the city by foot and better than other hotels i saw at half the price.

The hotel is really nice, the local venues are amazing and the price is high for Argentina.

Overall a nice hotel but overpriced for the service and location - the hotel owners need to decide whether to invest in earning it's 5 star rating or to let things slip.

Great location in the old cobbled street part of town, there are places much more noisy and some of the staff are very friendly.

The best was location and taxis were available at the door.

Location works well and taxi's are very cheap so can use instead.

Easy to get downtown and to the subway though.

The 5th level pool leaks down the central atrim stairs - safety issue- the first room we were allocated - 312 - had water leaking in from the window - room 111 which is used for massage had water under the bed.

Adding a small desk with lamp & appropriate office chair in guest rooms: there are plenty of options for stylish yet functional office furniture, and it would have been great to have had work space that accomodated my needs.

The staff was extremely helpful and the bed was huge.

Furthermore the bed perfect, continental breakfast and i just loved all the facilities.

Nice gay hotel, excellent staff and the suite is as big as a room.

The hotel was great and bar/restaurant the staff were fine Style of public areas Breakfast good.

The night we arrived (late flight), restaurant, bar, services were closed due to staff party.

Nice tenders bar, fresh towel service and the food was great.

The chef makes bold and provocative decisions about flavors and pairings that are not found in other restaurants I've eaten at in Buenos Aires.

Furthermore the staff were polite, showers were great and the breakfast was the best I had in BA.

Also the staff were fantastic, ignacio one of the receptionist was a gem he advised us on all the best and the rooms were very modern and stylish.

feel uncomfortable in anyway being a gay hotel and also the staff at the reception are nice to look at.

The room is amazing - i've stayed in suit, jacuzzi are perfect and the staff near the pool in charge of laying out towels.

On the top floor is a small indoor lap pool, steam room and sauna plus a roof-top sunning area.

The rooftop pool LEAKS onto the lobby and the staircases.

Rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding.

An ATM a block away on the main road and long distance from Palamero or Reoletta. Other large US cities and great value. Fantastic design of building, reasonable price and the front desk staff were wonderful. The room was nice and breakfast was very good and varied.

Instead of serving the dessert the waiters began to poor more, the music drifting up from the pool had a heavy beat.

The Sunday San Telmo street fair was great, location was central and the hotel was so nice about early check-in due to the early morning arrival in Buenos Aires from the States. Also the staff were fantastic, ignacio one of the receptionist was a gem he advised us on all the best and the rooms were very modern and stylish. Breakfast was lovely and the spa was good.

Location was great for sightseeing and this hotel just met all my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and the bed was huge. The food was good and also other guests/solo travellers at the pool were friendly.

Easy walk to major downtown attractions, the hotel is different and the front desk personal couldnt be any better. The room is amazing - i've stayed in suit, jacuzzi are perfect and the staff near the pool in charge of laying out towels. The breakfast buffet is nice, the facilities are excellent.

The review said wasn't a nice area, the Axel Hotel was just great and very professional staff was not able to enjoy the facilities. Rooms were clean and the complimentary breakfast was outstanding. The spa was also excellent.

Additionaly there we able to organise a great city tour, the stuff very good english speaking people and cleaning staff are really educated and nice. I loved the shower in the middle off the room and the outdoor space is wonderful. Complimentry breakfast buffet has all you need from hot to cold to fill up on, the gym is more than adequate.

The common areas are lovely, i am a big fan of modern decor and front desk staff is also good. The rooms are large, the axel cuisine is wonderful and indoor pool has a GLASS bottom is beautiful.
