Avalon Hotel Miami Beach - 迈阿密海滩

I loved close to the location is to the beach and very clean friendly staff we would go there again.

What I liked about it was the location, excellent!

The hotel is in a great location, right across the street from the beach, and right near all the actionl I suggest going to Wet Willies for a good frozen drink and to Larios for a great meal.

For those that are flying into Fort Lauderdale airport (because we all know, it's a lot cheaper), you can take a shuttle from the airport directly to the hotel for only.

There is a podium located right outside of the baggage claim area at the FLL airport.

Got a 90$ rate for a 2 double bed room, the rooms are small but not tiny, clean and well kept.

The bed was comfy, the tv worked, the bathroom was clean.

My sister had a room to herself with one double bed which was sufficient for her, but I think perhaps this would have been a bit compact for a couple.

The rooms were basic, nothing special, two beds and a bathroom.

The bathrooms, like the rooms are small, but well kept but you are not getting any extra towels, lol.

The seafood restaurant and bar downstairs are slightly pricey, yet worth the money.

I liked it better, b/c we avoided the crowd in the lobby for the continental breakfast and the busy evening restaurant "A Fish called Avalon", plus had security with a need to use your room key to get into the lobby & its a non-smoking facility.

Also, if you will be exploring the area by car like going to the keys, you can take extra food from the breakfast buffet so you don't have to spend too much during lunch.

We were so tired that we ate at the Fish called Avalon restaurant that night, which was expensive but the food was good and we had a table outside so we could watch the comings and goings of Ocean Drive, namely beautiful people and nice cars.

Not stuffing ourselves at breakfast meant that a few hours later we were ready for a good lunch :-) The Avalon is a 20 minute walk to Lincoln Road, where all the good shops are.

Beautiful outside terrace but the staff, rooms and service was a NO-GO!

Excellent location, the hotel was clean and staff was awesome from front desk to housekeeping.

We found that it wasn’t a warm friendly hotel and it lacked staff on reception, at times there was no one around.

I was also concerned about parking but since I ended up not renting a car (long story), I learned something very interesting.

You will see a man standing behind the podium, simply tell him you need to catch the shuttle to SoBe, he'll ask where you're staying, then he'll jot down the price on a car/flyer and hand it to you.

1 You can take the shuttle van for $18, which you will share with up to 9-10 other people, you will have to wait up to 30 minutes for it to arrive & you will have to wait for the other passengers to get dropped off, considering where you stay.

We had a great stay at the Avalon and wish we had canceled the other hotel, PC, for the last week of our stay in FL.

Rooms are small but very clean and comfortable.

Hotel was at a good standard in the rooms and was clean for your stay.

Although the rooms are pretty small, they are clean and decent.

I'm very picky when it comes to housekeeping being in the room to clean.

The room itself is small and does not really look like the pictures you see above, but it was clean.
