Austria Hof Lodge Mammoth Lakes

We plan on returning to the Austria Hof in winter for our annual ski trip, as it is in a perfect location being so close to the lifts.

Great location if you want to be walking distance to lifts, but too far to walk to village or town.

We arrived to find that the location was excellent but the service was horrible.

I must say that the room was decent, it was nice of them to have breakfast, and the location was fantastic.

The owner continually upgrades the rooms and the location for skiers is outstanding.

The room was so nice and beautifully decorated and the bed was great, down comforter and pillow top mattress!

We went to talk to him about the ceiling in our room that was dripping water on the bed and forming a puddle.

The room itself consisted of comfortable king bed and das Continental Breakfast ist vergleichsweise umfangreich.

The rooms are really nice with jacuzzi bath tubs, fireplaces.

My King sized room with fireplace located on the first floor was very clean and the bed linens were wonderful.

Friendly staff, restaraunt and bar onsite, and nice continental breakfast were a bonus.

Our room was very clean and the bar restaurant had exceptional service as the staff was friendly and attentive.

We chose this hotel due to the fact that it had a bar a restaurant onsite and it proximety to the slopes.

Additionally the rooms are clean and comfortable, bar are excellent, the German dining downstairs is delicious.

Incidentally, the food in the restaurant is surprisingly good although when we were there only one guy was on duty to act as greeter / barman / waiter so it was slow, slow, slow.

A good value, reasonable rate and the staff at the front desk wasn’t very pleasant.

Our room, reserved through the hotel's own staff, was supposed to be a "premium" room.

There's also a decent outdoor jacuzzi, good coffee and the waiter very friendly.

I'm sure it's awesome in the winter -- you can't get any closer to the ski lift -- but I highly recommend staying elsewhere during the summer.

No parking available for hotel guests which meant that I had to park at an adjacent parking lot and move my car by 6 am the next morning.

We checked in at 10:30pm and had to wait until the next day to get the code for accessing the wireless.

Bathroom was clean, the restaurant staff was great as well.

In addition room was clean and nice continental breakfast were a bonus.

Our room was clean and tea/coffee was good for a starter.

Room was clean, small but view was of rear service area (garbage & rubble).
