I had a fantastic stay at this hotel in the Bagan area. Firstly, the value for money was excellent. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the prime location near the restaurant street. Secondly, the staff were incredibly attentive to detail. They made sure everything was taken care of and were always available to assist. Lastly, the basic amenities in the room were great. The air conditioning was effective and the breakfast provided was delicious.
No improvements needed, everything was great.

Overpriced, we booked for USD36.00/room/night but reservation staff gave us the current price of USD48.00. We insisted and paid the price confirmed by Booked.net. This hotel should be blacklisted for indiscriminate huge increase in room price. No paved pathway from room to reservation area, muddy on rainy day.

The location of this hotel is fantastic, with easy access to the restaurant street and major sights in the area. The hotel staff here are excellent, providing helpful and friendly service throughout our stay. Our room was equipped with good air conditioning, which was a relief after a long day of exploring in the hot weather.
While everything else was satisfactory, the noise from outside the hotel in the early morning was a slight inconvenience.

Celebrating my new year at this hotel was enjoyable. The staff were helpful and friendly, and they offered complementary drinks and snacks during my stay. The hotel is in a good location, with easy access to nearby restaurants and the temples. Plus, the room was spacious and clean, giving me extra comfort during my trip.
There were some aspects of my stay that weren't so great. The bikes for rent were overpriced and not well maintained, so I ended up renting from another place.

It was clean, central and convenient. The staff were helpful in arranging day trips and taxis.
This hotel is on a busy street and it can be a bit noisy. However, it suits the location.

Friendly staff
The property has clearly been starved of any maintenance budget and the staff appear to be fighting to keep it operational. Breakfasts were very poor. The rooms are dark and gloomy. We checked out after one night. The staff seemed to be used to this reaction.

Great location near all the restaurants, town center, and major sights. Clean and well-maintained hotel facilities. Friendly and helpful staff, especially the English-speaking lady in the evening. Easy access to temples and exploring the area with Ebikes.
Could not be improved in any way.

When booking this hotel, be aware that (December 2012) your 50usd/night will get a dusty shack with a dirty bathroom and a rattling aircondition.... (if there is electricity). Bring a mosquito net - there are holes in the window/aircon, so there will be mosquitos in the room. Also some geckos trying to catch the mozzies :-) The supply-demand-situation in Myanmar might allow the hotel owners to ask that kind of money for a bad room like that at the moment.... If you want a better standard, you might have to invest more money in your room (and there are nice rooms in Bagan area!)
