We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, with easy access to all the sights in the city and a good Italian restaurant on Broadway. The hotel facilities were great and the cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast was simple, fresh, and well-presented, with delicious omelettes. But what really stood out was the friendly and helpful staff, who made us feel welcome and secured, including providing a smartphone with 4G to use during our stay. The hotel also had safe and secure parking, which was a bonus.

Everything was fantastic.

Excellent service, very nice people. Very nice location and comfort. I enjoyed in particular the opulent breakfast overlooking the swimming pool. Two free wi-fi points even if the guest house is relatively small. That means good connection everywhere: in the room, in the entrance, swimming pool and breakfast/bar area. Something that sometime even big hotels do not have (and it was included in the room rate..). At walking distance there is a small but nice shopping area, with a number of good restaurants. You can also ask the friendly staff for some catering and eat in the peaceful breakfast/bar area. Great value for the money.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening and from the security at the gate to everyone at the hotel, they were all excellent. The attitude of the staff at any hotel is important because they are the face of that hotel. The rooms were immaculate and comfortable. We really felt home away from home.

The breakfast was delicious and the pool was refreshing on the hot days. The staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations for nearby attractions. The location was perfect, walking distance to restaurants and shops.

The room was not what I expected for the price, old and musty. The cleaning service was poor and we had to request fresh towels every day.

This hotel exceeded my expectations, providing me with exclusive amenities that made my stay truly luxurious. The room was spectacular, equipped with top-notch facilities and beautiful decor. The location was great, a safe neighborhood with easy access to nearby restaurants. The parking was complimentary, which is always a plus. The restaurant served delicious food and the bar/lounge area had a great ambiance.

The only issue I encountered was with the service at check-in. I had paid for the room prior to arrival, but the receptionist insisted that payment had not been made.

This guest house offers a comfortable stay in a great location. The rooms are spacious and well-equipped, with a lovely balcony overlooking a stunning pool area. The bathroom is also spacious and includes a large shower and separate bathtub. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, making the stay a pleasure. Breakfast is served by the pool and offers a good variety of options. Plus, the guesthouse is conveniently located in easy reach of Umhlanga Rocks area and most attractions around the city.

The decor in some of the rooms is in need of repair, with torn curtains and cracked walls in some areas, which detracts from the overall luxury experience.

The place is indulging. Mostly I liked the bath room shower etc.

This was an extremely well appointed guest house which exceeded in amenities and standards many 5 star hotels. It was small and well run by a very professional staff well used to catering for the high end of the market. Safety is important in this location and the Auberge Hollandaise was well provided for with personnel and security technology.

It was an ideal place to stay.

The room we stayed at was quite spacious and had a good shower. We appreciated the warm welcome from the host and the complimentary drink. The view was also nice and it was great to have free parking on site.

The TV signal was very poor and there was no TV guide available. The bed was uncomfortable and we both had trouble sleeping.

The rooms were extremely comfortable. All the staff were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Smashing breakfast with more than enough to choose from. Generally, it was a great place to relax after a stressful day.
