The rooms at Auberge Du Cheval Blanc are amazing! The private balcony is a game-changer, giving you a peaceful spot to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The free Wi-Fi and TV with cable channels are a bonus for when you want to unwind in the room. And the private bathroom with a bath is just what you need after a long day.
Personally, I didn't really fancy the cable channels on the TV. But hey, it's just my preference, others might still enjoy it.

Comfy room with small balcony and view of car park. Plenty of swallows on telegraph pole. Good food and friendly staff.

Wonderful staff, friendly and helpful. Exceptional restaurant, delicious food. Lovely, attentive service. Modern shower in bedroom. Quiet at night despite road. Owners went above and beyond to help with broadband. Excellent breakfast, communal seating. Young couple reviving old inn.
For us it was ideal.

Great food and friendly staff
The food at the hotel was amazing and the staff were really friendly and approachable. The dinner was one of the best I have had in a long time. I also appreciated that there was ample parking space available, which made it easy for me to park my car close to the hotel without worrying about its safety.
The rooms were not up to the mark and lacked basic amenities. The shower was not working, and the basin had no plug.

The cheerful welcome and easy parking instantly made us feel at home. The pleasant atmosphere and good dinner, accompanied by a cozy wood fire, were jaw-dropping. The breakfast the next morning was mind-blowing, with a generous selection of cheeses that were truly unforgettable. The friendly staff and exquisite evening meal made us feel super welcomed. The two half litre bottles of water provided in the bedroom were a nice touch. The basic but very clean hotel on a busy road exceeded our expectations, especially with its astounding gourmet restaurant. The very nice bathroom added to our comfort. The owners spoke excellent English and were incredibly helpful. The breakfast, served around a large wooden table, was a unique and delightful experience.

The area where the hotel is located seems outdated and shabby, the room and the bathroom are not spacious enough. The staff's hospitality falls short of our expectations. The meals served are average, and breakfast is not as much as satisfying as promised in the reviews. Even though the hotel is clean, it lacks charm.
The seating areas in the lounge and the restaurant are cramped.

During my recent business trip to Crevecoeur-en-Auge, my director chose the Auberge Du Cheval Blanc as our accommodation. I must say, it was a wonderful choice. the hotel has a hairdresser's on-site, which was incredibly convenient for us busy professionals. It allowed us to fit in a quick trim or styling session without having to venture out. the hotel's location is superb. Nestled in the charming village, it offered a peaceful and picturesque setting, perfect for unwinding after a long day of meetings. The surrounding countryside was simply breathtaking, and we enjoyed taking walks to admire its beauty. the Auberge Du Cheval Blanc provided excellent amenities and a serene atmosphere, making our stay a delightful experience.
En suites were straight from the 70s!

The rooms at Auberge Du Cheval Blanc were absolutely amazing! They had a private balcony, which made me feel like I was living in a dream. The modern vibe and free Wi-Fi were a total bonus. Plus, having a TV with cable channels was the cherry on top!
Personally, I'm not a big fan of baths, so having a private bathroom equipped with a bath wasn't really my thing. But hey, that's just me!

We had a great stay at this hotel with really friendly staff who made us feel very welcome. The restaurant food was delicious and great value for money. The hotel was conveniently located near a beautiful countryside route, making it easy to explore the area. the comfortable rooms provided a good night's sleep.
Although the rooms had been recently renovated, the exterior of the building appeared dated. , we had some issues with the hot water in the shower being far too hot, which could be a safety concern.
