I found a charming old farm building near a picturesque lake in the tranquil countryside of France. The rooms are clean and well-appointed, offering a comfortable stay. The friendly staff provided excellent service, and the breakfast included fresh croissants and a lovely spread of jams, ham, cheese, and boiled eggs. The hotel also offers facilities such as a swimming pool and fitness room. Plus, there is the option of a €29.50 per head dining experience in the restaurant overlooking the lake.
Some of the rooms may be in need of an upgrade, but they are still clean and well-maintained.

Gourmet food in a delightful setting on a lake. Interesting villages to explore nearby, A good last stop before catching the ferry home. This was our third visit, and it is always a pleasure to return, whatever the time of year.

Good place to stay after visiting Roman town.
Snooty waiters, expensive wine, poor dishes of the day: thick vegetable soup, butchers piece of tough beef, and rice pudding.

The atmosphere was unique and authentic, delicious breakfast and all-day drink options, friendly and caring service, lovely rooms with sparkling clean bathrooms, fluent English-speaking owners.
Couldn't find any faults at all.

Our Room was on ground floor with a small patio area directly outside the room was perfect for our dog and access to/from the room. Friendly and very accommodating staff. The option to purchase a very well prepared and amazing picnic for our leisurely Sunday walk around the beautiful on site lake where we selected to eat at one of the many picnic benches available. The lake and grounds are very well kept as are the common areas of the hotel. Ample parking. The quality of the food both on the 'Norte carte' and fixed price menu was out of this world. A very good wine list to choose from.
Flying insects..... But when you are directly overlooking the fishing lake this can't be avoided and we expected this, so this is not a complaint!!

The grounds were well-maintained and the view was simply stunning. Secondly, the staff at this hotel went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I especially appreciated the well-prepared picnic and the extensive wine list to choose from. this hotel provided excellent value for the money and I would highly recommend it.

The hotel by the lake was an absolute delight. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the immaculate rooms with a lovely large bathroom and seating area, to the beautiful outside deck where we could soak in the tranquil surroundings. The owners went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing cheese, bread, and a bottle of wine when the bistro was closed upon our arrival. The staff spoke excellent English and were incredibly kind and accommodating.

Beautiful setting at a lake and top-quality restaurant. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and came with great views of nature. The location is perfect for a quiet break during the new year, far from the bustling city.
The decor felt a bit outdated and didn't match the level of the restaurant. There weren't any nearby restaurants or shops within walking distance, making it inconvenient to find anything to eat outside of the hotel.

Rooms were small but clean and had a minibar. The hotel was located next to a lake, which was nice for taking a walk around and enjoying the scenery. The staff were helpful whenever we had a question or concern.
The restaurant was a bit overpriced for the quality of the food. the hotel was okay but not worth the price for the food and breakfast.

Nestled next to a picturesque lake with plenty of walkways, boat rentals, and swimming areas, this rustic hotel offers a retreat from the hustle and bustle. The cozy rooms are thoughtfully appointed with traditional decor and modern amenities such as en suite bathrooms and comfortable bedding. The friendly staff is always on hand to help with any queries and the hearty breakfast spread is a definite highlight.
The limited dining options at the hotel can be a bit of a letdown, as there are few nearby restaurants or cafes.
