I paid a rate of $59 so I cannot complainin the least as I stayed a day earlier at a extendedstay hotel for more money that was practically a slum!
This is an elegant hotel, and for the price I paid at $99 for a downtown hotel, I think I got a very good deal.
First of all, I want one of the reviewers below to point out a downtown hotel in Atlanta where you do not have to valet your car at substantial cost.
Hotel has GREAT location (we were at a conference at the World Congress Center - 10 min.
Bar area is nice and the location of this hotel is excellent.
The location could not have been better and the staff at this hotel are exceptionally friendly starting.
If you take in a Altanta Braves game you need to take a taxi but that was only $10.
The hotel is within walking distance to the GA Dome, Centennial Park, Kinkos and Underground Atlanta.
The room was clean and quiet and the bed was very, very comfortable.
The room was clean and the first thing you notice is how beautifully the bed was made.
The rooms are on the smaller size and the bathrooms are very small with the vanity being in the bathroom.
Otherwise - the rooms are clean, as are the bathrooms and the beds are comfy.
The king bed was very comfortable and had the new Marriott bedding with down comforter and feather pillows.
Breakfast at the restaurant was good and check-out were fast and painless.
Breakfast at the restaurant was good but the buffet was somewhat limited in variety and was expensive.
Otherwise, I enjoyed the room amenities, the friendly and helpful staff, and the breakfast bar.
I had room service my first night and lunch in the restaurant on the 2nd, and I thought the meal was very good in both instances.
1) No free continental breakfast very costly to eat at hotel for breakfast.
Great hotel staff, fantastic service and check-in/check-out easy and professional.
The overall appearance of the hotel is very nice and helpful staff from the valet service.
1) The pool area wasn't as nice as the rest of the hotel.
So I got "free" parking, but it was not as convenient.
Please note that there is no self-parking at this property; it is all valet, which is ~$20/day.
High speed internet access was by Wayport which offered both wired and wireless access in my room.
In addition, both the wireless and wired internet access had a daily cost which no of the attendees were aware of.
The lobby was high end and the rooms are also typical of a Wyndham hotel - clean, new, well furnished and comfortable.
The bathroom, although small, was completely tiled and sparkling clean.
Room was very clean, pleased that all of the hot tea offerings were accompanied.
Room was clean and the pillows were fantastic.
