Atlanta Hotel Amsterdam - 阿姆斯特丹

Brilliant location the rooms were clean, the hotel was very nice located in city centre.

The noise tends to go on till way into the small hours, but on the plus side you are close to many bars, and the location makes up for it.

2 star, great location but gets a bit noisey at the weekend!

Right off the tram line, so a really easy communute from Amsterdam Central train station -- only 5-7 minutes or so.

30 minute walk, you can get to anything of interest in Amsterdam - the museums, the main shopping streets, train station, waterfront, see and photograph all the canals.

After finally checking in, we were given directions to a room that was a bit of a let-down given the fact that I'd asked for something a bit more "romantic" - it was a tiny box room with a tiny bed and an even tinier bathroom.

However, a little later in the day we were told we were being moved the following morning to a much bigger room, which was absolutely cracking - much bigger, a nice big comfy bed, a jacuzzi bathroom, and a nice view too.

If you only get a ‘standard’ room you will get a bedroom but have to share a shower and toilet with the other rooms in the corridor!

On the second day my room was not serviced at all, not even the bed turned down!

The rooms and bath are clean, beds are comfortable.

The area Remplainstein was quite busy but not too noisy - loads of cafes, restaurants and bars for a drink and as we're from Ireland there was an Irish bar right beside our hotel - which we didnt know at time of booking either.

The breakfast, although basic continental, was presented in a clean and friendly environment and was far better value than using the bars around the Rembrandt Square.

Amsterdam restaurants do not provide free refills on beverages.

Note: on Saturday nights, with the sports bar across the street and the trendy bar around the corner playing music with a heavy bass beat, it won't get quiet until 4am.

Step outside the hotel, and restaurants and cafes are to the left, right, and all around Rembrandt Square.

Pleasant front desk staff that are very friendly and helpful.

The staff at Hotel Atlanta were friendly, spoke English fluently, and were at the reception desk 24hrs a day, which was reassuring for if there were any problems.

The reception staff could have spent less time on the phone and more time smiling but still, I loved this hotel and would definately go back again.

Staff was very friendly and supportive - the hotel has wireless Internet in their breakfast area, so it does offer services to business travellers.

Very unhelpful or sympathetic staff, absolutely no hint of customer service, this hotel is purely looking to extract as much money from their customers.

It's not your typical big lobby, fancy reception, lots of elevators, big restaurant hotel.

2) There're no internal lifts, so if you book and are on the 2nd floor, you've got a bit of a steep climb (typical Amsterdam house type).

The rooms were very clean, spacious and comfortable, the staff was very friendly and helpfull.

In fact the lacklustre room though it looked neat and tidy was in dire need of a good clean.

The rooms are on the small side but comfortable and clean but you go to Amsterdam to see the city and not to spend your time in your hotel.

The room was basic, but clean and suited us fine.

The sheets were clean and bathroom OK (not as flash as it sounds) and with earplugs in you could sleep through the thump thump of the several discos in the square!
