Zafolia Hotel Athens - 雅典

Great location, the stuff is really nice food is good.

The location is convenient in that, you can take the bus (either #7 or #8) and can go literally anywhere in Athens, but particulary to Syntagma and the Plaka areas.

We did walk to the the metro (about a 15 min.

The neighborhood is worth exploring on foot to find the tiny outdoor cinema a couple of blocks across the street.

They do not have non-smoking rooms per se, so our room smelled a bit of smoke.

The blue tinted city water in the bathtub was unusual, but nothing wrong with it.

We changed to a room on the backside of the hotel where it is quiet.

Our room was on the street side and it was very noisy at night with heavy traffic, motorbikes, ambulances.

For one night we had a room at the back and the rest of the nights, we had a room at the front overlooking the street.

The restaurant was pricey, but there are affordable restaurants in the area (especialy Alexandras).

We didn't eat at the hotel but there are local restaurants and even some fast food places withing easy walking distance.

We didn't eat at the hotel except for breakfast which was fine.

We found a lovely restaurant down the block, across the street, called Alexander's (wonderful food - and reasonably priced!

Breakfast buffet was not the most complete one we had on our tour, but sufficient.

Friendly personnel, good Room Service and the pool at the roof was nice and clean.

The staff was very helpful and everything was in working order.

Rooftop pool bartender were very helpful during the stay, the lobby was large and welcoming, rooms were spacious mattresses were hard and uncomfortable.

Only remark: In the gym there should be towls available.

I couldn't fault the hotel at all and it has the benefit of a lovely roof top swimming pool.

Hotel was very clean and nice, the staff were very helpful, the room was big.

Positives: clean modern rooms at a reasonable price.
