Easy access to bus lines and metro once you figure out routes. I had booked a triple for me, my wife, mother, and 5 year old twins thinking we could make it work. Hotel wasn't too thrilled about that when we first checked in as apparently that is not how it works in Rome, but hotel ultimately accomodated us and brought an extra bed to the room to make us more comfortable. Decent buffet breakfast. For a family on a budget I would recommend this hotel.
Neighborhood is a little sketchy, but otherwise the norm for most of the "non-tourist" areas of rome...at least from my perspective. A lot of graphity in the area.

We liked this gorgeous hotel with highly qualified and very amiable staff on the reception desk. Booked a room with single beds. Location: the venue was next to the train station for the on. We stayed for 1 night here, loved San Lorenzo district.

Great and positive staff!!!
Wonderful old-fashioned hotel, nice views of the garden. Marvellous location in a very quiet area, near the main tourist sites in Rome and San Lorenzo, near the area of Termini Station and main Railway station. Great food in the rooftop restaurant in the vicinity.

The hotel is in the bustling university precinct of San Lorenzo, making it a great base for exploring a more authentic and residential part of the city. It is also very close to the Metro Station Termini, which makes it convenient for getting around and exploring all of Rome's famous attractions. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast selection is delicious, and guests have the option to enjoy their meal in a picturesque courtyard.
The neighborhood surrounding the hotel is not the most visually appealing and can be a bit dirty.

app 15 minutes walk from train station through a rundown area. Though rated as 4 star services anf facilities are worst then 2 star. Hotel looked very old and poorly decorated. Rooms were stuffy and AC not working. Bathroom did not had exhaust fan. Locker in the room was also not working. Decor of the room was horrible. Very over priced. Will not recommend anybody even for half price.

Misleading information about the closeness to Termini-it was a huge exaggeration.
