loved an air conditioning and a lounge area in the room. had a fully furnished kitchen which was convenient. the place had a contemporary atmosphere.

The staff were incredibly friendly. the location was excellent, with St Marys Catholic Church just a short stroll away. - the area served as a good base for me.

Location near Napier, perhaps more accurately, a “ region ” of Napier as well as major transport hubs. Brand-new and good-sized rooms with private bathrooms and a fridge, an oven, and kitchenware. Spa for guests, overall excellent service.

Convenient location right by a bus stop, making it easy to get around 🚌. the staff was friendly and welcoming, including the host.

Clean, great features, shared BBQ, outdoor pool, good location near shops, milk and facilities provided.

Basically an old style motel which has been retrofitted to a degree but insufficiently to justify the tarriff now being charged.In the one bedroom unit for example * there was no heating in the bathroom which was tiled and cold but was not adequately warmd by the heat exchanger.The bathroom did not have a heated towel rail.Adequate bathroom heating is a basic requirement and an essential for the tarriff being charged;*the lounge seating was inadequate. A lower tarriff would be appropriate and realistic for the motel as it is currently configured. The response to the following question is based on this comment.

We had a great stay at the Colonial Lodge Motel. We received a warm reception and were delighted with the room and its amenities. We made good use of the full kitchen. The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood was quiet. Highly recommended.

The room I got was well-appointed and beautifully maintained with spa and bathroom, as example. The staff were reasonably good and attentive and the location was perfect to drive to Marne parade.

We were glad to stay in a place like this. The location was perfect for us as there was a popular concert in the area and we found plenty of good restaurants and cafes nearby. The motel was also well-connected to major transport hubs. Our room was clean, comfortable and had all the facilities we needed. The service was also top-notch. we were quite happy with our stay.

The walls were thin and we could hear noises from the adjacent rooms.

The manager at the front desk was charming, helpful and welcoming. The room was modern, functional and the outside facilities were excellent including lovely grounds.

We had a great time during our stay! The coffee at the motel was a great touch and the spacious room was perfect for our family. The location was spot on with shops and restaurants nearby. We loved walking to the wineries, but of course, we drove back!

We wish we could have stayed longer! One tiny issue was the hot water, which was very hot, but it wasn't a big deal.

This hotel was a great stay for my family. The three bedroom unit was spacious and had all the amenities we needed for self-catering. The kids loved the swimming pool, trampoline, and games room, while I enjoyed the hot tub. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect, centrally located and within a short drive to many great sights.
