Location close enough to a good walk alongside the lake to all the restuarants. Close to Taupo Baptist Church.

Knowledgeable staff with Excellent customer service, well-appointed room. Bonus point for a kitchenette and a new carpet. Excellent location next to Close to town as well as the Taupo centre in a very very nice area.

I had well priced room with nice facilities. The location of the hotel was stunning and lovely - around 10-15 minutes walk from Taupo Hot Springs.

The location was good, and we could reach Kayaking by walking. This hotel was located in an awesome area.

The room was large and modern and complete with cooking facilities and the shower curtain was missing. The hotel had stunning location just off other tourist spots, a good walk alongside the lake to all the restuarants and the main shopping area and other tourist spots.

Efficient services, including spa area. Really nice facilities, parking on-site. The location stunning and fantastic really close to everything if you have a car or even a bicycle. And next to the centre of town, Hastings and a good walk alongside the lake to all the restuarants.

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at Chelmswood Motel. The room was comfortable, very clean, and had a large window overlooking Lake Taupo. We enjoyed the extensive outdoor space with BBQ and seating areas, and the pool was warm and inviting. The free laundry facilities were a great bonus. Plus, the mineral bath in our room was a lovely addition. I highly recommend this hotel for a great stay in Taupo.

Great value for money, the rooms were warm and very comfortable. The spa pool was an added bonus and made are stay unique. The atmosphere was friendly and the faccilities top quality. Kids loved the loft bedroom and the big screen T.v was great since it was S.a against nz rugby! We would highly recommend this motel and hope to visit again..Just to add we left 3 items in the room by mistake and they were sent to us within a few days. We were all round extremely impressed!

Excellent staff, the bathroom had all the amenities

We could hear every noise from outside, nightstands near the bedside were dirty... Very far from the center.

The stay here was comfortable and I would recommend it, the view we had was absolutely stunning, and the breakfast we paid NZD 12 per person for was definitely worth it.

The heated outdoor pool and the spa in the rooms were good and the beds were very comfortable. Unfortunately, as already stated by previous visitors, the walls are too thin and I could hear somebody snoring in the next room. We were a family of two adults and two children and found the living area unsuitable. There were only two chairs to sit on which weren't very comfortable. The only other seats were the dining chairs or a single bed, which I think should be replaced with a two seater settee. Otherwise good value for money for a cheap getaway.
