Astoria Hotel is located in the oldest section of town within a walking distance of the city’s most historic attractions. Besides it is situated close to the railway station and the shopping area of Via Indipendenza, just a few minutes away from the landmarks: 1000-year old university, the art gallery of Pinacoteca Nazionale and the complex of Santo Stefano, with its remarkable ancient churches built over a temple of goddess Isis. Its perfect central location provides excellent access to the entire city by car or public transportation that is available at the bus stop close to the hotel. The city’s Main Square and Neptune Square with its fountain are both one kilometer from the hotel. The Morandi Museum and Leaning Towers are also just one kilometer away. Bologna Airport is seven kilometers from the hotel with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

  Near to center Bologna, convenient for train station and the terrace nearby is good for smokers. The staff is friendly, helpful, room is comfortable and for Italian standards the breakfast is excellent.

  Good position and quiet, near to railway station, easy walking distance to Piazza Maggiore. Friendly service and welcome, reasonable price. Excellent continental style breakfast and i really liked the staff.

  Convenient apartment near City Center and excellent welcome. Nice price, good cleaning staff and the air conditioning in the room was very old and didn't really work properly. Breakfast was lovely.
