The hotel is located in the Takayama Highlands and is surrounded by deep forests and high mountains of Japan Alps. Hida-Takayama is located 3hours away from Chubu International Airport in Nagoya/ 4hours by train from Tokyo/ and 3hours train ride from Osaka area. 1hour drive to Shirakwa-go which was registered National Heritage. Hida-Takayama is very famous of its festivals held in spring and fall known as one of the three most beautiful festivals of Japan.

    The rooms are large seating areas and the hotel itself is a very modern facility. The staff are friendly and helpful, the water is kept wonderfully hot.

    Lovely views over the mountains, of good quality and the cafe style food in the lobby was better value. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room had a large combination shower/bath. The next mornings japanese breakfast was amazing and the facility was also spotless and modern.

    Commanding a good view of the mountains to the east and most easily accessible by the hotel's free shuttle bus. Moreover the staff is very knowledgeable.
