    I don't think I could have found a similar hotel for anywhere near the price in the area.

    I am very displeased with my very unpleasant experience especially with the unacceptable service that I received for the price that I paid ($295) to stay at this hotel.

    I would stay here again, for the reasonable price, cleanliness, and the great location.

    For the price and location we thought it was our best bet, unfortunately we were very wrong.

    As far as the location, it's much too far to travel downtown without your own automobile.

    We flew out the next morning with 3 hours of sleep, lay over in airports, and worn out and disgusted.

    They also failed to mention the parking fee to park in there creepy, dimly lit, underground garage.

    The hotel room had a comfortable bed, TV, mini-fridge and hairdryer.

    My issue was with the rooms - the door to the adjoining room was broken and in splinters, there were cockroaches on the walls, filthy carpet on the floor, dirty walls, hard beds, no remote for T.

    The lobby was nice (although the restaurant has been permanently closed), but when we arrived in our room and checked the bed, there were literately hundred’s of black hairs spread on the white sheets.

    We stayed in a room with a king bed on the 7th floor.

    The hallways and rooms smelled of mildew, we had only 2 towels and no washcloths, my phone didn't work, didn't even have a remote for the TV.

    We didn't try the restaurant, but it was open for business and seemed to have a nice menu for breakfast and lunch.

    We didn't eat in the hotel but we had a drink in the bar which was very pleasant.

    The website said that there was a functioning restaurant and lounge on site; there was an area for a restaurant and lounge, but neither were operating.

    The hallways smelled bad, the restaurant/lounge was not operating, and when we asked for a late checkout, a third employee said late checkout was noon (a mere 1 hour later than regular checkout time).

    The restaurant and lounge were no longer open, we were advised to park in the parking garage and were told their was 24-hour security.

    Most local attractions are close to get to and the staff always called the car service for me - try to stick with the same driver while you are there.

    The wonderful breakfast we were promised was the worst we had ever had and so I asked the lady at reception to mention this to the manager the next time she saw him.

    When I checked out I told the receptionist that the stay was substandard and asked what the manager (Mr Chang) had said about our complaint about breakfast.

    When we asked another front desk employee about the coffe pot, we were told the hotel was owned by a Las Vegas hotel by the same name, where they almost never have coffee pots.

    The pool, restaurant/lounge were closed, the one elevator that worked would take you to any floor you just didn't know which one it would be.

    Not only that, one of the two elevators was out of order, the pool was dirty, and our bathroom was an atrocity.

    You have got to see the lobby to believe it.

    It obviously has a little wear and tear (the bathrooms, although very clean, were dated, as mentioned in another person's review), but this did not bother me, as they were spotless.

    Rooms were in need of renovation, though mine was clean.

    It was very clean & more than enough room for myself & my husband with a sitting area & desk.

    Nice desk service, fresh apples, slightly scary elevator and a rather average room.

      ONE ROOM that looks like the picture online. ONLY decent room was much better.

      I called before staying to find out what the rooms included (shampoo, ironing boards, etc. We ended up getting a room right next to the elevator and the wireless was perfect. Their first suggestion to us was to just come down to the lobby every time we needed to use the internet, we told them that was not a good solution for us). We didn't try the restaurant, but it was open for business and seemed to have a nice menu for breakfast and lunch.

      They let us switch rooms because the room at the end of the hall didn't have a very strong connection to the wireless internet. They have wireless router on every floor, near the elevator. And we arrived back at the hotel around midnight one night and a man who looked like he had just been punched in the face and was bleeding from the eye got off the elevator.

      We Had The Awful Misfortune Of Renting Two Rooms -For Which They Charged 3 Star Rates! No Water To Use The Toilet, Bathe, Brush Your Teeth. We Thought It Would Be No Problem To Not Pay Because There Was No Water But, Our Credit Card Company Said If You Sign The Check In Voucher, You Have Accepted The Room As Is.

      I have to say I was a bit discouraged by the 1 star rating and early comments but the restaraunt is great, hotel staff was great. I had a wonderful meal and was one of the first to try out the new room service feature. I can't wait to test out that awesome pool though go South Beach Wow!

      The room was quite clean and adequate, the bathroom was fine. We didn't eat in the hotel but we had a drink in the bar which was very pleasant.

      Other reviewers have described the lobby which certainly makes a change from the usual chain hotel decor.

      The room we were given had been freshly painted and therefore had an extremly strong paint smell. We asked to be moved and we were moved to another room. On the 2nd night my husband woke up at midnight to find the bathroom counter full of roaches. We asked to see the manager and was told that he would not be in until later but that he would call us, which he never did. Upon check out, we asked again to see the manager and was told he was not in but we could leave our numbers and he would call us. Upon giving the room a double check to make sure we had not left any belongings - we have a 2 year old so we were checking under beds for toys - we found the "roach motels" that you can purchase at any store. The hotel knew that the room had roaches in it when they placed us in that room.

      This hotel is rated as a 3 star hotel and really it is a half a star with a face lift. The hallways and rooms smelled of mildew, we had only 2 towels and no washcloths, my phone didn't work, didn't even have a remote for the TV. 50 parking fee and the parking garage is very old and doesn't even have a guard.

      We had been staying in friends' guest rooms and pull out couches and we were looking forward to having our own space and not encroaching on anybody's house. It's not situated in the greatest of neighborhoods and we worried about the safety of our car in a poorly lit, non secure parking lot.

      Rates were cheap, the staff was very helpful & it was located very close to everything.

      There are many issues that need to be addressed.

      The pool, restaurant/lounge were closed, the one elevator that worked would take you to any floor you just didn't know which one it would be. Small problems with doors & plumbing need to be worked on.
