The location could not be more central - the highlights of Bologna are all within a few blocks.
We were particularly impressed with the location, just a short walk from Piazza Maggiore, banks, major restaurants, and historical sights.
The location is perfect and the price for the.
Highway or airport unless you are willing to take a taxi, the hotel's location is superb: right in the action on a quiet street.
Don't try to bring a car here only taxis allowed.
The room was large with huge closet and bathroom, free high speed internet via the hotel provided TV and keyboard, or with the guest's laptop.
The room though not huge (but then it's a gorgeous old building so you can't expect huge spaces) was tastefully decorated, extremely clean with a gorgeous marble bathroom.
The room was nicely decorated and the bathroom is decent size compared to other hotels in europe.
It was also nicely furnished with 2 elegant chairs,coffee table and desk,bathroom in marble and a small vestibule when entering the room.
Nevertheless we were rewarded for our inconvenience with an upgrade to a charming suite ( actually a big room with a divider), which was very comfortable.
Breakfast room is downstairs so it's true that there is no view - but the food is prepared especially for the hotel and is an enticing spread.
Breakfast was also very good and the service was top notch.
Internet was fast, made an excellent recommendation on a restaurant not found in any books.
The breakfast was nice, but down in the basement.
They produce quick guides for the best restaurants in the city which can save you time if you are only staying a night or two.
Staff was helpful and the breakfast was good as well as the service in such room.

My husband and I visited the Corona D'Oro for a quick weekend getaway and we were not disappointed - the staff were friendly and informative, really helped us making our plans to get back to Forli airport and couldn't have been kinder.
Location is fantastic, the hotel is extremely well located- in the heart of the center and the lobby is spectacular and comfortable.
The directions from the hotel were clear, staff were very friendly and the room was spacious and attractive.
Spotlessly clean, delicious breakfasts, perfectly located 2 blocks from the chocolate festival, and charming public rooms - what else could we ask for?
