Arrochar Hotel - 阿罗柴尔

The location is lovely, we've stayed here a few times as is a cheap base close to the Arrochar Alps and staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in a fantastic location and if you are lucky enough to have a front-facing room, the views are breathtaking.

It's a shame, as it could be a fantastic place, given the great location.

The location is ideal to visit many places.

Very good location, a great spot for mountain goats like us and a perfect place for looking for piece.

The room was clean & tidy, the beds were great & the bathroom clean also.

The washbasin was in the bedroom and the toilet and shower were in a very small bathroom (it had to have a sliding door because there was insufficient space for a normal one).

Room was ok but tired and dirty - bathroom had a shower, toilet and very small hand basin, the sort that you have in the toilet at home.

The Room had obviously not been cleaned properly as a previous occupants socks still under the bed.

The room was fairly large, but the bed was long overdue for throwing out.

After sampling the breakfast we did not fancy dinner in the hotel and found an excellent bar and restaurant a half a mile along the shore of Loch Long called the Village Inn.

Restaurant produces nice food and the staff are helpful.

A full dining room was a real challenge to them, and it became a joke that at breakfast there was only one bottle of HP sauce that had to be passed from table to table.

There was only one efficient waitress, a delightful Polish girl, the rest of the dining room and bar staff appeared to be permanently hung over or not interested in their job.

The bar was WAY over priced as was the food.

Apart from the waitress I found the standard of the service to be poor with most of the staff looking as if they'd rather be anywhere else.

3 gas tanks and the staff having the smoke out back so discovered the curtains should be shut at all times as everyone seen in even from the main road whch was in direct line, the telly just had four channels and reception dodgy.

The meals were excellent no probs there and the staff very polite and good service.

The reception staff seem to think that ALL scotland is no smoking.

Great view of the Loch, good atmosphere and the staff were vwey.

Dining room staff were a bit of a mix, head waiter was Scottish, two other servers were Polish, and one scared the heck out of me, she was quite fierce!

Sack the maintenance staff, cleaners and introduce decent managers and this place SHOULD be a jewl in the crown of scottish hotels.

In addition the room I stayed in was clean, food was good.

The dining room was very clean and pleasant, meals were excellent including a hot.

The staff are friendly, the room looked like needed a good clean.

The bathroom was spotless, helpful - the value for money was.

The interior is clean and welcoming, the staff is very friendly, used to small beds then this will be fine for you.
