Arona Gran Hotel

Plenty of restaurants/bars nearby the location was quiet and peaceful, snacks in the hotel were very reasonable, the staff were very friendly.

Its location is superb - near the town, beach area outside the hotel is at best described as tatty and the food there is not bad either.

We already knew the hotel location from several earlier trips to Los Cristianos.

If you book directly with the hotel - you get tea and coffee and water provided in your room at no charge and you also get a free taxi to and from the airport if you stay 7 days or more.

Its about a 20 minute walk to Playa De Las Americas and costs between 6 - 8 euros in a taxi From the hotel there are buses but we didnt use them.

The rooms were cleaned and the bed linen and towels were changed every day.

The bed rooms are comfortable and very clean.

My husband got locked into the room, door closed between the bedroom and bathroom area and just would not open!

Better sea view than expected, for us the hotel is in an ideal situation and the rooms are lovely we had a great room on the top floor facing the pools.

A double bed in this case was two singles held together by a sheet.

The breakfast and evening meals were good, my wife is a veggie and she always found something to eat.

The food in this hotel is very nice, at breakfast you can have just about anything you can think of eating for breakfast, fried eggs the way you want them, omlettes, several kinds of sausage, freshly griddled bacon, cereals, fruits, cakes etc.

The pool area is very clean and relaxed, the food in this hotel is very nice, the restaurants are all lovely here.

Breakfast and dinner were buffet style- there is enough variety so the food is not monotonous.

The pool bar was nice clean drinks and food ok.

Reception - Great service, nice private balcony and lovely terraces.

Service from the staff are all excellent and the Rooms- The rooms are comfortable.

Lovely reception areas, overall one of the best hotels I have stayed at and helpful staff are the same that were there 3 years ago.

This hotel is well managed and the staff throughout the hotel are friendly and offer a high level of service.

The Hotel also has Sauna, Gym & 3 Squash Courts, Hairdressers, Beauty Salon other shops, you can also play Ping pong and Billards.

You did have to pay for the gym and sauna though, and book the sauna for an hour - its something we didnt do though.

All fresh home cooked food, both well worth the money and cool ambiance to the lobby.

The rooms were very clean and the maids came in daily and left it spotless.

Rooms are spacious and spotless, the piano bar is good.

Our room was clean and the bars was extremely good.

Furthermore our room was adequate, the food was tres excellent and the swimming pools were lovely and clean.

The rooms are very clean, drinks are all paid and the pools are cleaned every day.
