We recently attended a wedding in Tucson and got a great price for airfair and hotel.
Considering the cost, I would not recommend this hotel.
According to the site plan there appears to be a few other deluxe suites that might offer a quiet setting but be better located - I suggest you consider whether this standard of room is worth paying for or ensure you know the intended room location.
Of course, one of the main benefits of the Arizona Inn is its convenient location.
I don't really have any complaints about the Inn as I really admire the staff, the location, and the simple elegance of the Inn but I do have two cautionary insights: if you have teens, this might not be the place to go.
Tucson isn't what I consider a taxi town so you will definitely need a rental car.
Beautiful public areas and from the minute we checked in to we left was superb.
The suite was huge, with two rooms (one room was a living room with a f/p, desk area with a computer and fold out sofa bed, the other room was a huge master bedroom with a desk and sitting area).
Our room was beautifully appointed with a king sized bed, large bathroom and desk area.
Rooms are tastfully decorated and well-appointed with comfortable bed linens.
Our standard room was bright and clean, with two sets of screened windows that opened out onto a gentle fountain, a generous closet with refrigerator, safe and lots of storage space, a big comfy king sized bed and plenty of room.
The room had a very nice writing desk and chair, king bed, 2 wing chairs, TV, and two huge closets.
I have not eaten in the main restaurant, but I have eaten in the bar patio several times.
Breakfast by the pool is a lovely idea the food was delicious ,also the ice cream bar at night went down very well!
Room service was top notch, and the hotel restaurant and piano bar had a nice variety of options with fantastic presentation.
In the fall and winter, to replace the breakfast and ice cream bar, a full English tea is served in the afternoon.
If you go in the off season, they have special rate that includes breakfast and an evening ice cream bar.
This was also true of the staff, from the ever so pleasant groundskeepers and the attentive maids and cabana help, to the Concierge.
The service was exceptional, the concierge was extremely friendly and our standard room was bright and clean.
The staff is lovely, room service is excellent and fast, the Inn has a tea everyday from 3:30 to 5 in the winter months is delicious.
The grounds are beautiful and the hotel has such character - we especially enjoyed the walk to the pool for a swim at night.
Inside there are fresh flowers, acres of green gardens, a sparkling pool and tennis courts.
The pool when it is lit up at night has a magical feel to it.
The hotel manages to combine modern day ammenities such as complimentary high speed internet while maintaining the originial historic feel of the hotel.
Its nice to stay at a hotel they dont nickel, excellent service and in our room there was fresh pitcher of lemonade.
In our room there was fresh pitcher of lemonade and some sandwiches.
